My grandchildren had hours of fun with this pool toy. It worked just as advertised. When the shell hits the bottom of the pool it opens and Arielle spins upward. My 6 year old loved diving to the bottom to retrieve the shell for his little sister. She would tuck the mermaid back in her shell and send it back to the bottom. Super cute and fun toy, my small kids can figure out how to put Ariel in the shell and sink it. It opens every time, and she swims to the surface. Only issue is the paint scratches off and comes off easily if she’s scratched on the concrete at the bottom of the pool or pool deck.

I have two littles that love Ariel. Only wish I had bought two of them. The price was great, super cute, so easy to use my 2 year old was able to use it and was a good size. It seems also very durable and went from play time, pool to bath so it’s versatile.
