  • For the price, you can do a lot better.
This isn't a terrible sleeping bag, for a budget bag. But it's also not a great sleeping bag, and I wouldn't dream of using it anywhere near the 23 degrees F listed here as a low rating. It's fine for temperatures down into the 40s if you don't get cold too easily, but this isn't a great choice for temps anywhere near freezing. And it's not a great value. What I like: it includes a hood. I like hoods, they're good for retaining heat around the head. What I don't like: pretty much everything else. It's a rectangular bag (I prefer mummy-style, which makes for far lighter and compact bags for the amount of warmth they provide). The materials are fairly thin and cheap. Stitching is weak and won't last forever (especially in the stuff sack, which tore the first time I tried to put the bag away after testing). My main bag is a 15 degree down mummy bag from REI that cost over a hundred bucks more than a decade ago. It's holding up great, and has served me for hundreds of bag nights. If I were on a budget, and wanted to pay this much or less... I would look in local shops. I have an outdoor store nearby (and you probably do too) that has far better bags than this on sale regularly for under thirty bucks. This one is comparable in quality to ones I've seen in stores for $15-20. If you need to buy online, a quick search here found a number of bags around the same price that I would trust much more than this one. Here's one (a quick search will find you a bunch more): Coleman North Rim 0 Degree Sleeping Bag Anyway... I would not recommend this bag for the current asking price of forty bucks. For half of that, it's a definite 'maybe' if you don't need something particularly packable, well made, or warm. Note: I received this bag at a discount in exchange for a review. ... show more

  • Super long and so warm and comfy.
This sleeping bag comes in a stuff sack. Makes it easy to stuff it back in the bag Although it could be an inch bigger this thing is a tight fit. I took the sleeping bag out of the stuff sack and laid it out unzipped it and zipped it then inspected the zipper. It moved nice seems well made no sewing issues. I laid down on it and it felt comfy I pulled up the zipper part way and then it didn't want to go any further. I put my arm outside the sleeping bag and pulled it up a bit further and then tried from the inside again but it was difficult then I pushed my foot against the edge of the sleeping bag to tighten it up then the zipper went to the top no problem. it was soo nice and warm I almost fell asleep right away. I unzipped it, much easier it just slides unzipped. It has the sleeping bag smell that most sleeping bags have and I don't like it very much so I used Febreze on it to get rid of the scent. at the first campout, I will bring it tot he bonfire and let the campfire scent get into it. I love the smell of a campfire. I then took the sleeping bag and stuffed it back into the stuff bag. It worked ok it is a tight squeeze to get it in there but it will fit if you keep pushing. then tighten up the lock all ready for the next campout. I received this Best Cool Weather Sleeping Bag From Swift-n-Snug - Temp: 23 - 59 Degree F (-5 - 15 Deg Celsius) Travel, Camping, Hiking - For Adults, Kids, Teens, Mummy & Dad - Lifetime Guarantee for free or at a reduced price in exchange for my honest review. • Excellent sleeping bag
We do a lot of camping so it's important to have a decent sleeping bag. There are several important features that this sleeping bag from Swift N Snug offers that I fell in love with. Size: over 7 feet long to accommodate any height, and when unzipped will cover any length air mattress and almost 5 feet wide to use as a blanket Hood: it has an attached hood that is a foot long with a drawstring enclosure for those extra chilly nights Insulated: it is filled with 100% polyester to accommodate those chilly nights (23-59F) but doesn't get too warm or sweaty inside either! Travel-Friendly: rolls up into a travel bag (included) with a drawstring that doubles as a shoulder carry strap Extra zip liner: prevents that inside lining from getting zipped up in the zipper I love this sleeping bag and I'm so excited to use it for many more camping trips! I noticed they offer a 6 month money back guarantee so you can get a refund if you aren't happy. If you're thinking about ordering one of these, you should try it. I received this product in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. I love this sleeping bag and the seller is absolutely wonderful! ... show more

  • Snug as a bug in a Sleeping Bag!
This sleeping bag as a good amount of room length wise, but not so much width wise. I'd prefer something a bit wider in the shoulders and leg area. It's a nice light weight bag with adequate insulation for cool nights, but nothing extreme. The zipper feels as if it will give if pulled too hard, but it's working well for limited use. The sleeping bag is 7'2" long (including a 12" long hood) and 29.5" wide. To get the sleeping bag back in its pouch, you first need to fold the bag in half lengthwise, then you have to tightly roll the sleeping bag as tight as you can. There are visual directions on the website to show you how to do so since there is no cord to wrap around the bag for storage. It's called a stuff sack sleeping bag for that reason. This item was sent to the Demo man for little or no charge for my honest and valued opinion. ... show more
