  • Great optics …
Great optics, but they are a little heavy. Love them though …

  • Incredible optic!
Top notch. I have tons of optics as a photographer, but this is the best. Super clear, sharp and almost 3Dish. You will not be disappointed. This is the peak of binoculars technology.

  • Bought the Best No Regrets
I tried all the quality binoculars at a local big box sporting goods store and looking at objects inside the store just doesn't tell you much. I wanted a really good pair 15 power binoculars and I think I found them. I would like to have found a pair that was equally good but cost less, but decided to buy the best and not to take a chance and be unhappy with them after I tried them. I had heard about the quality of Swarovski binoculars and after using them in the woods looking for elk and deer, I can say without reservation that they are the best binoculars I have ever owned. They are crystal clear looking at distant objects with now loss of clarity at any point on the lens. I spotted several deer and elk that might have gone unseen with my other binoculars. They cost more than the others, but this was a once in a lifetime purchase for me and I'm glad I decided to buy these. I highly recommend them. ... show more

I have been using Zeiss and Leupold binoculars for over 40 years. I went with these Swarovski because of the quality in which they were built. The outer housing of the Swarovski is more durable than the others with less plastic and to my surprise the optics were better than Leupold and equal to or better than my Zeiss Conquest of the same power. They are well worth the extra money. ... show more

  • Terrible Terrible Terrible
I have had 5 of swarovskis products and I recently sent back my 15-56 binos for repair as they went out on a moose hunt in Maine..Swarovski would not repair the binos and actually tried to extort money from me..So much for a lifetime warranty..Go with a vortex zeiss or leica these companies all stand behind their product and are 1/7th the price..Swarovski overrated and zero customer service..Thanks Melissa Fontes and Ellen Santagata for thge awful experience after I patronized your company for over 7k dollars in eight years..Terrible Terrible Terrible..Buy anything but Swarovski!!! You can see the binos anytime I live in Fort Collins Colorado! ... show more

  • Not even close to being worth $2299, I feel foolish buying and keeping them!
Okay, here goes. I work in a factory so I am not a wealthy man. I save my money and I allow myself a nice toy every now and then. This time around I decided I wanted a good binocular for nature study/birding/astronomy. I already own an old Nikon Monarch 10x42 binocular that I felt were under powered for eagle nest watching. I set out to find some high quality optics that would really allow me to see much farther with more detail. I also wanted to use them for some casual astronomy viewing. Prior to the Covid 19 pandemic I was able to handle some high end binoculars in person and Swarovski was definitely a contender for my hard earned money. Since I was going to spend what was a large chunk of money for me I took a lot of time to study optics and I read many, many reviews about all the binoculars I was thinking about buying. I viewed every available video I could find on the type of binocular I wanted and searched out all the different online shops that sold them. For the purposes I wanted to use my binocular for I chose the 15x56 configuration as offering what I was looking for. I decided to purchase the Swarovski 15x56 SLC on Amazon for $2299.00 plus taxes. I bought them in April of this year and have used them extensively for birding/ nature study and astronomy. They are very good optics. I was able to spot alligators at a far greater distance than I could have with my other binocular. The Moon, Venus, Jupiter and other heavenly objects are sharp and clear. Looking at eagles on the nest and even in flight yielded good results. In my hands they feel good, heavy and solid. They are very good quality. They look great and very distinctive. They perform the way you would expect high quality 15x56 optics to perform. Yes, a good tripod would help, especially for astronomy. I have no complaints about the binocular at all with the exception of value for money paid. So, are they worth the $2299.00 I paid? Yes and No. Yes because obviously I paid that price for them and I kept them. I thought seriously about returning them but I didn't. The first day I used them I thought to myself that I was foolish for spending OVER 2000 dollars for binoculars! They were good but not THAT good. They didn't change my life, they didn't solve any problems for me and most of all I can't stand the thought of telling people I was stupid enough to pay $2299.00 for a binocular!! So, why did I keep them?? I'll tell you why. I own the best darn 15x56 binoculars money can buy according to all the experts. They are a prestige item that only my lady friend knows I bought and paid over two grand for. If I were to tell my coworkers what I spent for these I would have to quit work for the scorn I would get. If you are a wealthy person by all means buy them, they are good quality. If you are not wealthy consider the Meopta 15x56 or maybe a Vortex product. No, the optics elite won't approve, but man you won't feel like such a dummy for spending $2299.00 on a binocular. ... show more
