The price was great for the promise of a higher megapixel photo. We bought one for each of our kids. That being said, within the first day of use both my kids pulled off the itty bitty protusion on the heavy, wedged in cover that protects the port and the SD card. There is now no way to open the cover without wedging in something, risking damaging the surrounding areas. The interface is non intuitive. There is an interesting selection of frames but doesn't always correlate to the frame that is put on the picture once the image is taken. There is no way to toggle on or off the date stamp Why oh why is "format card" the first option in settings on a kids camera? Why oh why isn't there a warning that selecting that option will erase all the images and recordings? The camera turns off when being unplugged, even if there is someone actively using it (like playing a game or recording a video). The mic isn't picking up on sounds properly so all recordings are muffled. ... show more

The camera is cute but we could not get it to work unless it was plugged in. As soon as we unplugged the charging cable it shuts off. After I gave a bad review the company contacted me and made everything right. I could exchange or they would refund the camera even though I was beyond Amazon's return date. This camera is poorly thought out for little kids because: You can't look through the viewfinder. The default setting when you turn it on is for the rear facing camera, which means we have hundreds of pics of half my kid's face. The display doesn't show the pic you just took. You have to navigate from the camera to the menu to the gallery to see your shot, so there's no gratification for young photographers. Responses to any buttons pressed are slow and glitchy. The picture quality is bad (which is understandable, it's a kids camera). The lanyard is adult sized, so the camera hangs to the knees of a small child. The first camera we received didn't even work, so we were disappointed to find the replacement to be so frustrating for my 3 year old to use. This would definitely be easier for older children to navigate, maybe more like 6 and up instead of the 3 and up stated on the product page. I will say it is very sturdy. It has been played with pretty roughly and dropped a number of times, and it still works fine. ... show more

This camera is really fun for kids. Very easy to use and takes good quality pictures. Lots of internal storage too. Durable quality to survive rough play is perfect for little kids. Kids spend lots of time playing on it. Nice color choices. Kids love it!

I bought this for my grandson for his 4th birthday. He loved it!! It took 2 adults to figure out how to review the pictures on the screen though. Still, he had a blast taking pictures of everything and everyone!

I got this camera as a gift for my nephew. He really loves it! It works great but the only downside is that the default setting is "selfie mode." So every time you turn it on to take pictures you have to change it out of "selfie mode" in order to use it like a real camera where you don't want to just take selfies. It's just a few pushes of a button but still it would be nice to be able to have it default to non selfie mode. ... show more

I bought this for my 2.5 year old because she LOVES taking pictures and I wanted her to stop stealing my phone! That definitely worked and she loves it! It’s very durable when dropped and she can turn it on and off. The picture quality isn’t great, but how great to pictures of the floor or whatever need to be? I’m certainly not planning on printing too many masterpieces, this is just because my daughter loves taking pictures, and it stores tons. One warning, it’s not touch screen, which it doesn’t claim to be but it does make it slightly more challenging to navigate the different buttons for a little one.
