There's nothing fancy about this, but it looks nice, and it lets you get back in at stuff within the wall if you suspect you might need to and would rather not roll the dice on enclosing it in drywall again. There's nothing built into it that makes it adhere. You can try to arrange for a tight enough fit that pressure holds it, or use drywall mud or some other adhesive, or a bit of both. No hinge or anything, but easy enough to pop the sucker open with a screwdriver. ... show more

We were disappointed after we installed it that the hinged side & the snap close side doesn't work well. It is hard to open & the so called "hinges" just fall out of place. It is not a smooth looking functional panel.
