I was looking for a fair priced, diverse boot that I could wear for any occasion, but could also jump in the bed of the truck and kick around if needed! I’ve been in them about a week now and so far they’ve met those criteria well! They seem to be breaking in well and were pretty comfortable right out of the box! I like the look and feel as a casual wear boot and the rugged capabilities they exhibit! I got the waterproof pair, and they are a bit warm, I’m assuming due to the waterproof proof liner/membrane, but not too bad. I haven’t had the chance to test the waterproofing!!! Received almost two weeks ago and wear them daily for work and on weekends. Fairly comfortable right off. Little bit narrow at the toe but no major break in issues. Resolved the toe box issue by wetting the leather and packing the toes with the the packing that came in the boots and let them sit overnight. Very comfortable now. Love the inserts. So far no signs of impending failure and the soles show almost no sign of wear. I don’t care for the lining. It’ll make them too warm for southern summers. But they’ll be good fall through early spring. One star off for narrow toe box and the lining but I’m calling them a winner. 1/1/24 Found a crack in the sole this morning not sure if it goes all the way through but this is really disappointing and frustrating. Thought I found a dependable daily work boot. 1/14/24 Big thank you to Sureway! Received an email from them on the 6th offering a new pair of boots. Grateful not just for the replacement but also for a seller actually keeping an eye on the reviews of their products. I figured having worn them almost daily a return wasn’t possible and I was just SOL. New boots arrived yesterday 1/13. Good on the crew at Sureway! Thank you again. ... show more

I've had these boots for several months now. I am a Carpenter for a GC construction company. I've been in the mud and dirt and quarry spawls grinding through this coming winter and I've been impressed with how long these have held up. I'm usually a Redwing man, but I thought I'll try a discount pair out and go cheap see how they last. It's been several months or so and they are still solid. One thing is I put tough toe on them when I got them and that it starting to chip off and last couple days I've been working in a couple puddles of water and I did feel my socks getting wet, but i believe that's more on me not switching out for muck boots. I received my new boots yesterday. They fit and feel like they were made especially for my feet. However, there is a weird odor emanating from them. Smells like a chemical powdery smell. Will this eventually wear off? I wore them in my car for a drive, and the whole time I had to keep the windows open because the smell was so powerful. As a retired NYC sanitation worker who put a million miles on boots, I have to say, I wish I had these years ago. I haven’t taken them off since I bought them. In fact I just got back from Berlin and Prague stomping around the cobblestone streets and Christmas markets for 10 days, the thick wedge sole and thick leather with wool socks insulated my feet perfectly. I have had boots costing 3x as much that don’t come close. True to size as well. I’m definitely buying another pair after the holidays. I give them an A+. ... show more
