  • This light on the go pro mount works!
Had this light mounted to a bike with the go pro mount on the handlebars and it lit up the bike path at night just as I needed to limp back as the sun went down. Will need further testing to see how it works when there’s no street lights or closer to midnight.

  • It's a light
It looks and feels good, very bright light.

  • Good Underwater Light for Close-up Photography
This is a good light within limits. The beam is fairly narrow and the intensity limited which translates into practical use being restricted to fairly close use for macro photography. That said, the light appears to be well built and the single on/off/brightness level/flashing switch works well and fairly intuitively. Professional High Intensity Discharge (HID) underwater lights are much larger, heavier, cumbersome, and >$1K for a dual light setup. ... show more

  • Almost a Great Sub-$40 Dive Light
I purchased four (4) different lights to compare and keep the best (I am retired and have the time, but travel most of the year so I don't have time, space, etc to carry / replace a poor light, ~1 year at a time!). My wife and I dive as often as we can and I take pictures and videos using my (out of production) Nikon Coolpix w300. It's built-in flash is great for macro but.... And my previous sub $40 light just died. I compared 4 sub-$40 dive lights and "Suptig 30 LED Video Light Waterproof Light Underwater Light" won (for my purposes) after a day-long competition! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B8TN4F4 The competitors were: Suptig Video Lighting Dive Light Underwater Lights 72 Led Lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z1TYVTZ Suptig Diving Light High Power Dimmable Waterproof LED Video Light Fill Night Light Diving Underwater Light Waterproof 147ft https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BCC4VQW Neewer Waterproof Up to 131ft/40m Underwater 20 LED 700LM Flash Dimmable Fill Night Light with 3 Color Filter(White, Orange, Purple) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KO0SSH2 How I tested: 1. I fully charged all four 2. I turned-on all four at full power at the same time and ran a timer 3. Suptig 30 LED Video Light lasted 2:22 before it suddenly cut-off (awesome) 4. Suptig Video Lighting Dive Light Underwater Lights 72 Led Lights lasted over 3 hours, but was not as bright (granted, it's beam was much wider, but that is not always a positive for most of my shots) 5. Rest of the lights were severely fading by 1:30 mark! 6. Suptig Video Lighting Dive Light Underwater Lights 72 Led Lights took 3:30 - 4:00 hours to fully charge (I couldn't tell how much it had charged as it only had a singly light for charging) 7. Suptig 30 LED Video Light charged as follows: 50% - 20 min, 75% - 30 min, 100% - 3:15! (at least according to it's back lights - still need to check that out over the next few days, as I have time) 8. Suptig 30 LED Video Light was the only one that was fully sealed. They should all go to that. Granted, "Suptig Diving Light High Power Dimmable Waterproof LED Video Light Fill Night Light Diving Underwater Light" gives you the ability to swap-out the Gopro compatible battery (Awesome) and I never had a problem w/ a similar waterproof mechanism on my old light and it also throws a pretty powerful beam. But if you are doing back-to-back dives (1 hour surface time), you'll need a maximum of 4-5 batteries (4-5 dives/day). An option (OK - if you turn-on the light only when you are taking a picture, it should last over multiple dives). Note that, except the first two (my choice and the 72 light), all other lights' outputs faded with the fading battery power - something I dislike. Again, I highly recommend "Suptig 30 LED Video Light Waterproof Light Underwater Light" for diving photography. Keep in mind that it is not a $300-$600 light, so it's beam is not as powerful. Good luck! ... show more

  • Works great so far, super bright
The media could not be loaded. No issues yet, super bright and works exactly how I needed it to. Only thing I don't like is the strobe function, just an extra button press to turn it off that I'll never need.

  • Quite bright, almost waterproof.
This is my second Suptig diving light. Bought it for snorkeling at night, very interesting. Durability: My first lasted quite some time before the plastic on the clamp section gave in. I would say worth it due to the amount of times I had gone out with it (still useable as a light, but no longer waterproof). This recent purchase, not so great! First time I used it, never even dove down, and the battery compartment flooded. double checked to make sure it was not user error it was not. I ensured I clamped it properly. Light quality: Emits a white light which visually to the eye gives amazing illumination underwater. If you're using an action camera like a go pro or osmo action you may want to test it out first though. For photos, there is a distance window where everything is way over exposed or under exposed. It's much more successful for video. Conclusion: I'm stuck in-between 3 and 4 stars. But for the purpose of rating this most recent purchase I'll stick with 3 because it flooded during surface level snorkeling, and this is marketed as a diving light. ... show more

  • Bright!
This light is a great companion to anyone who uses a GoPro or similar action camera. Or even for someone who just wants a waterproof light. It mounts to all GoPro accessories, allowing you to use it as a wearable or mountable light if you don't need to record whatever it is you're doing. The buckle mount on top lets you attach a camera. Water resistance is present and accounted for. I have not taken it diving, but have experienced no housing leakage with several short-duration short-depth tests. The design looks solid. This takes Hero3-series batteries. If you have a Hero3 that you upgraded, but still have your old batteries, they'll find a great home here. The light spread fills the typical action camera's field of view quite nicely. You'll experience some viginetting during near-work with the camera/light within a few feet of the subject, but that'll fall off as you get further away. I recommend using "Low" power for up close work, and "High" power for further away subjects or fill lighting. Battery life is as advertised. I have had no problems with charging the battery - it rests securely in the carriage, and isn't jostled by anything that I would subject something that's currently charging to. It weighs just over 100g - about the same weight as a Hero 4 Silver without its housing. Weight could be a concern when using this with a camera installed on top. The Hero 5 series Floaty accessory can carry the camera, this light, and most common wearable mounts. It cannot carry this with a "Three Way" stick unless you remove the mini tripod from the base, or the extension arms. ... show more
