This light works very well! It has a timer you can set to turn & off on whatever times you need. And it has 3 settings.... Full spectrum with all 10 lights on, with only 7 lights on, & only 5 lights on. Started my grow 2 weeks ago & couldn't be happier.

I needed to upgrade my flowering tent from 2x2 to 4x4. The specs on this unit matched those of another unnamed manufacturer at about 1/3 the cost. The tent surprised me showing up the next day so I set it up with the old TS2000. Happy surprise, SZHLUX PT4000 LED Grow Light showed up a week early! Setup was easy, just slide shades onto the ends and hang it up. It's very lightweight and puts out a lot of light. The only negative is the lack of clarity and poor quality of the English Language timer and programming instructions. This doesn't harm my system, but I would like to better understand these features which might be of benefit to my operation. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Awesome, little 400 watt light. I've been satisfied with it from the get. Go doing my first grow and have had no problems. Little difficult to set up without the instructions. But it's not that hard to figure out. Wish it did had a USB Jack for wireless capability.     • The PPFD map is WAY exaggerated
Hooked this up and did a PPFD map on the highest setting. The 40" map is what I get ROUGHLY at 20", and I never get over 1100 PPFD, even at 2". It will work, but I built a 48x24 LED Array out of the same company's garage work light. The light map is better on them, with 5500K, and the PPFD map beats even the best numbers on this one, and it actually reaches those numbers. This is a very yellow light, but it is not as intense as 5 48" 60W 5500K LED bars... I will of course keep testing, but I am nowhere satisfied with this product. That's what I get for ordering from Amazon, and bad product from a bad company working with a bad company. No guarantees, no customer backup, it's like rolling the dice every time. ... show more

Starting your own grow room is a lot of fun and of course its very rewarding the more you know. So I'm learning a lot. But this light here has the best group of ppfd's that I have found on most lights. The good price is also a good factor.

So far so good, after I found a cord that works. The connection was loose. Good thing it is fixable. That’s if the company would help. This is 2 lights now w/issues. The first didn’t even have a cord. Want to get another but I’m not a fan is the lighting controller. Easy to use but if you use a outside timer system it’s pointless. Otherwise so far the light performance is close to factory specs mines a little short on the pmols. ... show more

So I was disappointed on the quality. So I’ll order another to see if the y are consistently off. Otherwise if the durability is there in 6mo I’ll say it’s worth the $$.
    • Extremely Bright Light for affordable price.
I currently have this set up in a 5x5. I'm using it two grow some tropical Bonsai Trees during colder months. In the past 2 weeks my Trees have received more new growth that they have in the last 6 months next to a south facing window. The leaves are greener, the Trunk looks fuller. It is in a controlled environment where the temperature stays at around 80-82°F and RH around 40-50%. Im leaving the light on 16 hours a day. But if your wondering if this will do better than a south facing window. Then answer I yes. I also have watermelon, Jalapeño and cantaloupe around the edges of the tent and they love it. ... show more

The light is powerful, bright and has great coverage for your canopy. The built in timer function is easy to use and rids yourself of purchasing a separate timer. About 6 months after the purchase one of the LED panels developed a flicker. I reached out to Szhlux through Amazon and explained to them of my issue. They responded quickly and a new panel was on its way to me within days. I highly recommend this product !! ... show more
