These clippers are so beautiful I don't want to use them. I am so impressed with the quality of them they are well worth the buy! They came with many free updates that your normal over priced clippers don't even give you. These are almost better than my BabyBliss cordless clippers and the cost a whole bunch less. Just let tell you I am very pleased with my purchase that if I ever need another pair I hope these will still be available. First, the most difficult thing about this clipper set was getting the packaging open. If you want to preserve it in any way, be advised that the outer cover slips off from the top. It may take some work, but you can eventually slide it off. Then, the rest of the box pops open with almost a magnet like locking mechanism. Once you know how it opens, it is not too difficult. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. I was even surprised it came with a smock. There are a few stickers inside as well, but I'm not really sure what their purpose is. Now on to function. I have been using "wired" clippers for years at home, and they have been fine, but I was excited to get a wireless clipper set. It makes a huge difference in being able to work without the power cord in the way. My one complaint (and star deduction) is that these clippers use a NON-STANDARD usb connector to charge. Why oh why does everyone use a proprietary connector to charge their devices now?? So, whatever you do, DO NOT LOSE your charging cable. Otherwise, this will become a useless device. For actually cutting hair, I have been using my Wahl clippers for a few years, and I don't know if it is because I had a new blade, or the clippers themselves, but I believe the cut was much cleaner and closer. I still need my small beard clippers for fine edging, but otherwise, I really like the way these performed. I'm not sure it is worth the high price. I could have used much simpler packaging if it would have saved on the cost of this item. Also, I really wish they would have used a standard charging connection. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Just put of the box, the quality definitely shows. The box is sturdy and reusable with the closure being magnetic. My boys with sensory issues love this trimmer... It came within 2 days and with an extra plates that is transparent and has decals to boot! The sound is quiet compared to most trimmers, and I do have to say it goes through the hair just beautifully without heating up. I definitely had less passes through to get the job done as well. I'm loving the silicone ring, which gives me a lot more control and grip, again-making the whole job easier. This little trimmer feels very smooth, yet sturdy and with metal toggle parts instead of plastic. The combs (#.5 - #6) are sturdy, and fit perfectly. The only con I can see with the system is the proprietary charger cord, but they're inexpensive and I will definitely be ordering an extra just in case. I highly recommend this product and will update as we go along... ... show more

Recently my Wahl senior cordless broke. I only had it for 3 months. I loved that clipper. I could have bought another but didn't want to spend another 120+. Saw this clipper for 100 with 30% which brought it to 76 tax included (California). For the price and what you're getting, this is a steal. I'm no barber I'm learning to cut at home. For the level I'm at this clipper gets the job done! The blades that come with it are good. They get a little warm after a while but never hot, although I continue to spray Cool Care on them from Andis. Oil em before and after a cut (most clippers anyway) and you should be good. These run at 6800 rpms and the Cordless Senior runs at 7000 I believe so not too much of a trade off. I also have some Wahl Magic Clips and while they can get the job done too, I prefer the more powerful clipper. Get these if you're on a budget or simply don't want to spend a lot of money! My only gripe I guess is that it takes 4 hours to charge for 3 hours of use, and it uses proprietary plug in verses USB c or modern use charger. It's not a deal breaker but it sucks considering the cable they give you is short so you can't really keep it plugged in while cutting, unless you have an extension cord. ... show more

Received today 🙌🏻🎉🎉 Haven't tried them out yet but I'm looking forward to tomorrow at work. I ordered because of the style, price, and reviews. From what I can tell so far everything is indeed made very well. Feels nice and solid in hand. Not cheaply or flimsy feeling. With that said it is a little bit heavier than other brands of cordless clippers. But not any heavier than any old brand of corded clippers so no worries here. I especially love how quiet and stylish they are. Purrs like a kitten. And I absolutely adore the purple and gold design as well as the option to interchange the plate cover and personalize it with decals. ... show more

I'm very impressed with this trimmer set. My old, corded trimmer recently died, and this turned out to be a wonderful replacement. I love that it is cordless. You don't realize what a benefit that is until you've used a corded trimmer for years. The trimmer itself is heavy and feels sturdy and durable. I love the range of attachments, and they are each to swap out. The battery life is impressive, and a single charge seems to last quite a while. The trimmer is also quiet - which is a nice benefit if you're listening to music or a podcast. My only gripe (and the lack of the 5th star) is the lack of any sort of storage bag.
