You know how Amazon emails you almost as soon as you’ve received an item to ask you to review it before you’ve even had a chance to really use it? I always thought that was stupid, right up to this time when I fell for it. I’m editing to revise my review. I originally ordered one cane tip because I specifically wanted one that would hold the cane freestanding upright. When the first one I ordered did that fairly well I ordered two others & wrote a good review. Only. . . that was before I’d really used the new tip out in the rough world. These tips are too thin on the bottom. As I walk I can feel the metal bottom of my cane scraping on the sidewalk/asphalt/whatever. Sure enough, after I think only 2-3 weeks, the bottom of the tip is wearing through & will soon have a hole. I reiterate that the seller’s service is excellent and the tips do hold a cane upright. But the fast wear & tear for a fairly expensive item doesn’t work for me. I’ve ordered 3 of these cane tips in two orders. In both cases they arrived very fast—within 24-30 hours, once with delivery on a Sunday. I wanted something that would hold my cane up, freestanding, when there’s not a convenient place to hook, hang, or prop it. This tip does that fairly well. The media could not be loaded. This replacement foot was am excellent purchase. My cane stands on it on and I haven't left my cane hanging at a cashier station. Lol Some how I damaged my replacement foot and had to order another one nothing last forever. I still give it 5🌟

There are more “ feet “ on this cane tip. I thought this design might keepthe cane upri better. I still have to rotate the cane tip sometimes to get it to stand upright on floors etc. But my super strength Hugo cane tip was also in need of rotating sometimes. This particular cane tip is soft somewhat pliable . The Hugo tip I could put a foot on the fallen cane/ tip and push down a bit for the cane to cone up to my hand. This cane tip is too soft for that. Bothersome to say the least. But - it’ll be ok . It’s not a heavy cane tip if you are concerned about weight on the cane. ... show more
