Description

The 5/8 inch x 7ft SuperStick shallow anchor pin with stainless steel tip features the preferred T handle (makes driving in and removing easier) T handle can be removed (stainless steel screw) and anchor pin can be customized/cut to desired fixed length, and handle reattached. Our anchor pins are made of Aircraft grade fiberglass with an UV inhibitor (just like our push poles).

The SuperStick is very heavy duty fiberglass and has a solid stainless steel tip. The metal tip helps get the anchor stuck in deep on rocky or gravel bottoms. This anchor pin sinks, which is key to success. The cheaper floating pins, will float up and out of the ground once the hole loosens up a bit. This is a great addition to my Old Town 106 Minn Kota kayak - it holds me in shallow water with no problem. It's light weight but strong. Also it's THIN and that's important when trying to set the anchor deeply into the bottom to get a good grip. It also functions as a small push pole for the kayak. I love the superstick products - besides this smaller stick, I have the 9 foot superstick which is able to hold a 22foot Nauticstar in shallow water, and of course the absolute must have telescoping Superstick PushPole KVD version which has gotten me out of more than 1 trouble spot. The stick is quality and of nice thickness. It works most of the time where I fish. Salt water doesn't seem to affect it's as appearance! Shipping was fast and it comes complete with nice lanyard long enough to work with ! I use it on a custom Gheenoe and it hold well in tide changes.

I love this stake pole. What took me so long to get it. The reviews did not do it any justice. I take it with me on all my kayak trips. The days I forget I miss it. It’s tall and skinny. It’s heavy so it stakes easy to the ground surface.
