  • Works well for the kitchen. Hard to find small size TV's.
Size: 19 in
Purchased the 19 inch to replace a worn-out TV in January 2023 and still working great! It is hard to find small size TV's now in days. Happy to have found this model! Needed it to connect to a cable box. Please read the directions carefully or else may have a hard time trying to connect the cable box with the TV as I did at first. Save directions for future reference. [See photo for *Quick TV Setup Sheet* that came with my unit as an example.] * It is the right size I needed. Any bigger would not without giving up counter space in my small kitchen. * Picture quality doesn't match up to the top brands but decent at eye level. * If seated below eye level, the tv appears darker. * Sound is not perfect though it is loud enough for me and ok. * Since it is not a known brand, it did not connect with the cable box remote. No worries there as the TV does come with it's own remote which I keep by the TV anyway. * Haven't tried yet the built in DVD/CD/CDR. Will update when I have a chance to since it's not really needed in my kitchen but good to have since it came with it! Note: Another reviewer commented about a bad pixel on the screen. [bad pixel = a tiny square dot on the screen of a different color.] Try lightly rubbing that spot with the ball of your finger (not nail) and it may disappear which worked for me. My TV also came with a bad pixel. Overall happy with this purchase! Thank you SuperSonic for still making smaller size TV's available for us! ... show more

  • Not as pictured/described but decent TV for the price
Size: 19 in
I bought this as an upgrade from a 13 inch TV/DVD combo for my old RV. I wish they made a 21 or 22 inch option, as the 24 was going to be too big for the space, but 19 was still better than the old so I went for it. I used it on a camping trip last weekend and have the following feedback so far: The sound is better than I expected. I have a sound bar from the old TV and did hook it up, but it probably wasn't necessary like it was for the old TV. It's not the BEST sound, but for the size and price of the TV, it's definitely acceptable. The closed captioning options are so tiny they aren't even really worth having on. Even when I adjusted the font, the writing was still very small. I have to buy a new mount/arm thingy so that I can tilt it down much more. The screen is just too hard to see when watching dark things in the dark unless you are looking straight at it. My old mount doesn't tilt enough to allow me to look straight at it when sitting. When I watched Rick Steves traveling through gardens during a daytime show, I could see everything no matter the angle, really. But at night, watching Ozark, which has more dark scenes, I could barely see anything sitting on the couch. When I stood up and looked directly at it, it was improved so I'm hopeful the new arm will help with that. When I could see the screen, the image quality was good and relatively crisp. The screen does hold fingerprints pretty easily, and in an RV where you are constantly touching and moving it, that can be annoying. The remote is TERRIBLE. I had to put a piece of cardboard between the batteries and battery cover to help a little, but it's still not that responsive. I have a feeling the TV is going to outlive the remote, which will render the TV useless someday. I wish I had the option for the warranty coverage, but it did not appear for the 19 inch when I was buying so I did not get it. Seems it would pay for itself when the time comes for a new remote. If you buy an arm/mount, make sure the edges don't stick out much farther than the 100 VESA holes, or it may interfere with the DVD portion that sticks out in the back. I'm sure you can work around it (cutting the extra metal off the holder or getting a longer bolts and some washers to build a buffer), but if you can just buy a smaller one, that might be easier. I'm hoping the new one I bought won't interfere so I can use it as-is. My Firestick worked fine with the TV. My biggest gripe is that my TV did not come as described/pictured in the listing. My inputs in the back are different. It does not have a detachable AC power adapter plus the DC car cord. It has a permanently attached AC cord plus the DC car cord that you can plug in as needed. I bought this to be used primarily on DC so would prefer not to mess with the extra cord sticking out the back and getting in the way of the mounting arm and generally looking messy. It's annoying. The DC cord does not plug in the bottom but rather around the far side in the back, which is not as convenient for me to reach based on the layout of my RV. This is not the best TV I've ever seen, but for what I needed and the price (I paid $148 with tax), it will do for now. ... show more

  • Nice 110, 12 volt combo
Size: 24 in
This is my second order on this TV -- I could not get power to the USB/SD inputs. I returned TV and reordered same model -- Thank you Amazon Prime. I read where only one other person had this problem, but it was different, they even had a different remote. So, I sent my first order back and replaced it with this second, same model TV. Again, this replacement seemed to have the same problem. What are the odds? So, I sat down and tried to figure this out -- apparently, I am the only one who ever ordered one of these and was not able to understand how to get the USB/SD to work? I am tech savvy, or thought I was. Anyway, I went through the very detailed manual and nothing. Then, I stopped looking at this as a TV with built in DVD player and imagined it as a TV with a stand along DVD player with USB and SD slots. The TV itself, has a USB Source input choice on the menu -- ignore this -- there is another physical USB input on the back of the TV alongside the HDMI input. Turns out that in order to get the USB/SD inputs to work or power up, you have to be in the Source menu and select DVD -- after selecting DVD then find the D.USB/SD button, on the bottom row of the remote -- D.USB/SD and press that button while watching screen messages alerting you into which input you are entering. It will change from DVD to USB or SD. There, you have it, the USB and or the SD come alive and will read the USB or the SD inserted. Just cycle back by pressing the D.USB/SD button to get back to DVD. Somehow this procedure is left out of the Manual. It is only understood, in the manual procedures, if you understand this one concept, that it is the DVD that controls the USB/SD slots nest to the DVD slot. A second USB input is located on the back/bottom of the TV where you would plug in your Firestick or Roku, which I have done, and my Amazon Firestick works perfectly. I hope this helps someone else -- I canceled my previous review -- This is a corrected update, so, if you read my previous review, please ignore. This is the real solution solved. ... show more

Picture is decent. Not spectacular but at this price range and size wouldn't be realistic to expect that.Sound is simular;its on low end volume & quality wise but not a deal breaker.Has optical output so could use sound bar/speakers(Roque has a sound bar)Havent used Roque or firestick yet but dvd works well.is compatible with 12v so potentially helpful boonedocking. ... show more
