I really appreciate that they read my review and responded, so added one star back for their good customer service. Now rating four stars instead of three, but still not five stars as the issue with indentations still exists. Original review January 26, 2023: I should have just bought 4 ft x 6 ft rubber horse stall mats. Those are only $65 each at Tractor Supply Hardware, and 3/4" thick RUBBER. These are foam, and after installing them in my home gym, anything with a little weight, such as my weights, leave an indentation. I purchased two sets to cover an exercise area. The pieces were very easy to assemble with a tight fit. I can't attest to the durability as they've only been used a few times so far, but the construction is solid and it is very comfortable to exercise on. Looks good. Works as intended.

The product itself is solid enough. Thick. Works as intended. My two, nearly negligible, gripes: If you want to keep the edges on, the mats do not fully align. Minor aesthetic issue. You can cut off the corner that doesn’t work or you can just have them off and have the edges open. After I got my first set, I decided I wanted a larger space so I went to my orders and did the whole, “buy again” thing. I received my second order to add onto the first and they were different shades of black. Nothing so dramatic that it was even worth my energy to send back…. But something to consider. Pretty easy to assemble since the edges are detachable. In photo, ordered two boxes worth you get like 6 square pieces. It'll pop in but you can still see the ridges raised up. It's like a harder plastic material.

These rubber/foam mats were easy to install. Purchased 2 sets for my home gym/ squat rack. I’ve used foam tiles in the past these tiles have a lot more grip and seem to be quite a bit more durable considering the tough top layer of rubber. My dogs also love chomping on their bones on the mats; cleaning up the slobber is not a problem. My first order of mats had a defect, they had mended together damaging one of the tiles. I reached out to customer service and (Linda) sent me another set immediately. Wonderful customer service!! I bought these tiles with the intention of making them the center of my gym floor for more traction. I have foam tiles already, that are the same dimensions these tiles claim to be. They’re not the dimensions listed, and did not interlock with the foam tiles. They have some funky little cut out for the connections in the center of each side, so they only work with these specific tiles. They aren’t 24”, if they were I could’ve made it work with my 24” foam tiles. The rubber is just a top coating, so time will determine durability. If you buy ONLY these for your floor, they’re a decent product. If you buy them for the reason I did, then don’t. ... show more
