We initially bought 2 boxes which totaled 96 feet and installed on the front of the house. DIY installation went well...strongly recommend using sharp aviation snips. Overall, they look good (pic1).This 1st batch did not overlap and butt end to end tightly. It left small square holes where they meet (pic2). I think the machines at the factory need recalibration to have the cuts right. After seeing that the gutter guards worked over several good rains, we bought 2 more boxes and completed the back of the house. This new batch came with pre-drilled holes for screw placement while our 1st order did not (pic3&4). This is a good sign and indicates the company is trying to improve on their product. Although the new batch came with pre-drilled holes, a lot of the ends were frayed (pic5). Wished I could have taken a better picture. In my opinion, this indicates the blades need sharpening or replacing at the factory to provide a cleaner cut. As the product still needs improvement, we rate this a 4 out of 5. ... show more

I’m 78 and fell off a ladder trying to clean gutters. Got banged up real bad. Gave a local handy guy $200 to install. He installed 90 running feet in about 2 hours with four angle cuts. These will save me loads of work in the fall and spring with over 100 trees on the property. And guess what…they are made in the good old USA!!! ... show more

5 Rating: The design is what was needed for how I wanted to install - guard invisible from the ground, installed under gutter edge (not screwed into top) and slipped under the roofing fiber shingle (see photo). I live in an area with no snow, ice, windstorms, only moderate rain, rare thunderstorms. Surrounding trees are Oak, California Bay Laurel, Chinese Pistache and Eastern Redbud – lots of Fall leaves. This product works exactly as advertised, though installed upside down. Rainwater flows through the screen, down the gutter and out the down spout with no problems – no overflow at all. 3 Rating: The manufacturing process doesn’t always securely crimp edges to the screen. They will occasionally separate. This happened most often when the back edge was slipped under the roofing, and I needed to push the guard in and pull it out to adjust; especially when cutting/fitting corners. Though the mesh is easily pushed back into the strip, it’s somewhat annoying. As an extra/precautionary step, I ended up taping the flat back edge strip to the mesh lightly with a small hammer before installing - no issues after that. 1 Rating: Packaging for shipment is flawed. All the ends were securely wrapped and slipped into the box. Being stainless mesh, as the package was set on end, the bundle slipped within the box into both ends and crushed the mesh (see photos). That made it necessary to straighten/flatten out, one by one, both ends of each guard (part of DIY?), not fun. If a cardboard piece extending past the mesh edge were wrapped on to both ends of the bundle before slipping it into the box, the problem could be eliminated. Because I consider functionality the critical factor in purchasing/using this product, my overall rating is 4. The other mentioned aspects did detract from very good product. With a bit of extra work, they were overcome and wouldn’t prevent me from a future purchase. Hopefully the manufacturer reads comments and can address those conditions. ... show more

Whats included are all wrong for this application, they cut the holes then thread into it with little holding power, not to mention strip out easily when using a cordless drill and are not stainless so will rust and streak down your gutters in time. The screens them selves I could find little to fault: packaging was OK yeah the ends get a little tweaked no big deal, product itself is really classy installed and my recommended stainless screws finish it off well. ... show more
