Hard to find item in home electronics or even hardware stores anymore (as I found out the hardway). This worked great for my 1977 Marantz 2270 to get very good FM reception. Not pretty tho, just some copper colored wires in clear plastic, but it does the job, and that's all that matters!

I've owned several of these in my life, having been an amateur audiophile since the early seventies. We used to use these to acquire the signal from FM stations back in the day. In college days when visiting friends, you'd see these antennae tacked up on living room walls. Tacking them to the wall of the living room may be a fashion/decor faux pas these days, but I still do it, hiding some of the antenna behind wall hanging near the "stereo" (using the word "stereo" may be a self-incriminating faux pas, too, admitting one is old and in the way). They seem to work as good as they ever did, though they are probably 3x the price they were in the seventies. Given Radio Shack disappeared ten years ago, which was the only place you could find something like this locally, and all the hi-fi stores having disappeared, I say it's a good buy. ... show more

This product worked great! Especially compared to the antenna that came with my Denon Amplifier-Reciever. I could only bring in 4 FM channels with the one supplied. I put this one on and without spreading the wiring I was picking up signals from 100’s of miles away.
