I recently bought these Super Mario Bros Walkie Talkies for my boys after a trip to Universal Mario land, and they were a big hit! The sound quality is good quality, and they work great both indoors and outdoors. The Mario and Luigi design saved me from buying in the park. My grandson loves Mario and wanted walkie-talkies. These were the perfect ones! We have had no problems with strangers cutting in like a couple of people reported. He loves them!

Ordered this set for my grandson and they arrived with the Luigi walkie-talkie not working. It could receive but not transmit. The Mario one worked fine. Did a return and had another set sent to him, and the exact same thing happened- Mario worked but Luigi didn't. Gave up and got him something else.
