I've purchased 3 of these cases since I bought my iPhone X new, replacing each of them after about a year's worth of use. My phone still looks brand new when I take it out of the case. I've been hard on them and my phone has been dropped more times than I can remember. Attaching photos of my 2nd case just to show you what it looks like after a year of hard use. The screen protector is scuffed up from being in my pocket with keys and other things, which is my primary reason for replacing it. The frame is also cracked on the edges, but the way it's attached under the seal on the rubber case, it wasn't an issue for me. I’ve had these cases on several of my phones. Currently on iPhone xs. After expensive lifeproof and otterbox cases failed me every time I finally purchased the unicorn and honestly it is the best case on the market. The screen cover will eventually take to scratching if you’re rough with your phone but I’ve gotten years out of them before replacing. Solid protection from drops. No issues with mic or speaker. Four people in our family have used unicorn beetle cases for more than 3 years. After 3 years of use, screen protector is still in great shape. If you are around drywall dust, you will probably want to clean your screen protector before rubbing gypsum dust all over your screen protector, as that is gritty and will result in a less smooth texture, but touchscreen abilities are not affected. We have dropped or phones often and far. 6 to 8 foot drop onto granite floors and both Samsung & Apple phones are still fine. These cases aren't waterproof, but that's obvious because there are holes for speakers. The flaps that cover charging ports can fatigue after 3 years, but if you don't flip it all the way back, it's fine. Two of the 4 of us still have perfectly working port covers. Absolutely no complaints. These cases have protected our phones from burns during welding on edge of screen, hunting knives landing point down on the screen, drywall dust, falling in mud&snow, falls during bouldering, and a fair bit of protection from heavy rain while camping. We've used Ziploc bags while kayaking/canoeing and had no problem using touchscreen without taking Ziploc bag off. Also the case cleans easily, we've used baby wipes, eye glass wipes, or damp cloth and even the white with grey style stands up to use in mechanics shop, exposed to grease, solvents, oil, etc. ... show more
