This is not my first Sup case. First time I've dropped a phone though was in the last month. Fell out of my pocket while sitting. It's been almost a year, and very few complaints. I did have to shape/flatten the piece near the screen protector as it caused it to bubble with pressure. Now for the drop, maybe from 24-30" high, and it landed square face down. I didn't notice until a few days later that the corner areas of the inner plastic surround had cracked. As you can see from the pictures, 4 separate bits. Still the phone works and is unscathed, so it worked, bit I didn't expect that height to cause quite that reaction. Additionally, losing its color in places. Last weekend, I had a temporary sticker on it that wouldn't stick to my shirt for our tour. I put it on the case and maybe 2-3 hours later, a large circular patch pulled off. This case is the best. Had a Crave before that was doing nothing at all to protect my phone. This is substantial enough to keep it safe from drops and stuff. The last phone my husband had a unicorn beetle case on lasted forever too. This is a reliable case for people that are active.

My motorcycle handlebar phone mount broke the other day while riding and my phone met the road at about 60 mph. This case saved my phone completely, not a scratch or a crack to be found on the phone (using the full cover face). The case needs to be replaced as it ate pavement pretty hard but it did its job wonderfully in protecting the phone and I'll definitely pick up another one of these in case my phone ever needs to be saved again. 10/10 would recommend for drop protection. ... show more

    • I have had 2 of the hip holsters break cleanly in half.in half in the last 8 months

I have been purchasing this product since 2016. Up until 8 months ago, I have not had any breakage issues. Now I have had 2 holsters break in half without any undue stress. They simply split cleanly in half. You have to purchase the whole product to replace them. Wish that they would sell separately. Are they using less material to mold them because of the supply chain materials shortage? Do they have a flaw in their current Injection molding process? They use to outlast the thin plastic frame in the case. Not anymore. I just bought this as replacement # 3. I hope it holds up. The last one broke in less than 3 months. I have previously raved about the quality of their products I have received. I am giving the benefit of the doubt here by scoring 5s. Believing that this one will hold up like previous phone model purchases. I hope my faith holds up. ... show more

I had another case very similar to this but it was all black (only came in black or purple) so I wanted something that I could see on a table or in the dark. I loved everything about it except for that. This case has all of the same features but LOOK AT IT. It is SO cool looking. The kick stand goes both directions for looking at things either in portrait or landscape. This type of kickstand is also great because it folds into the case flat so it doesn't take any more room than the case itself. The ONLY issue I had was that the kickstand is REALLY tight so clicking it out will nearly break off your fingernail...if you have one, which I don't. The other thing is when you put your finger through it, the 2 little nipples(?) on it that holds it into the case, are a tiny bit sharp but abrasive and will irritate your finger after a while. No problem, I shaved the one side off with a fingernail file (the reason I have no fingernails) and voila. Perfect. This case isn't quiiiite as rubbery as the original I had nor is it as thick so I'm unsure of how it will protect my phone if it is dropped. I think it will do well though. Not being so rubbery and rounded makes it a bit less grippy too which makes it easier to get in and out of my pocket and not as bulky. Oh yeah, and you can use a wireless charger just fine with it. ... show more

This case has great grips on the side, and is chunky enough to feel like it'll really protect the phone in a fall, while still being thin enough for wireless charging and power share to work. Wish they sold it without the holster, though.
