  • DON'T BUY
This is a cheaply built tool. The "pin" is just a coffee stirrer straw. I tried to use it to set the brake booster pin on my FJ62 and because the pin is just a plastic straw I could not get an accurate setting. ended up setting the pin too long and my brakes were smoking after a long drive. spend the extra $ and get one that has a metal pin that can be adjusted and has a set screw. ... show more

  • A 3D printed piece of dookie
It wasn't obvious to me by looking at the pictures, but this "tool" is 3D printed. Mine came broken in the Amazon package, so I didn't even get to use it. The depth gauge is basically a plastic coffee stir tube. It is necessary to have something solid as a depth gauge, as most master cylinder require spacing of about .002 of an inch between the booster rod and the master cylinder piston. Spend the extra $10 and get the tool with the steel depth gauge. ... show more

  • cheaply made
It is 100% plastic but hopefully it will get the job done. no reason I/you couldn't put in a threaded rod in the middle instead of the plastic adjuster to make it better tho. For the price, it looks to be what I needed and should do the job if you are careful with it for sure. as it sits it is a throw away tool unless you put in the threaded rod like I mentioned earlier ... show more

  • Doesn't work.
3d printed plastic which is fine bit instead of a metal rod thats tight fit so that if you bump it it doesn't self adjust or something with a set screw ITS GOT A PLASTIC STRAW IN IT! Not even cut to the right length so that it's usable complete waste of money, it's supposed to be a halfway precise tool and it's not even within a 1/16 of an inch. Don't waste your money on this ... show more

  • Use it gently
I guess if you have nothing else it will work or if you plan on just doing a quick check a few times it should work. The rod in the unit I received was way to loose and would easily fall out which game me zero confidence it was right.

  • ok plastic model
Works ok but for a little more money I could of got the tool that tightens in place once you’ve measured.

  • Made installation of a new booster and mastery cylinder very easy
converted a 65 Buick from 4-wheel drum brakes to 4-wheel power disc brakes. This tool made the power booster/master cylinder install very easy to get the boost pushrod length correct.

De verdad esto es algo increíble, o sea , algo tan sencillo y útil k no lo van a creer , me ahorró muchísimo tiempo y dolor de cabeza pies al montar la bomba de frenos nunca traen la medida exacta de la pieza k se va a desechar .
