    • I love this piece, but I didn't realize that it's flimsy
I purchased this because I like the rustic/distressed farm-style look and wanted storage for my kitchen. I think it's a very nice looking piece, but after a year or so, I noticed that some of the wood panels appear to be cracking or splitting - either from too much use (opening and closing doors, heavy items being stored inside (canned food, small bags of beans/rice, etc.), maybe the couple hours of afternoon sun also dried out the wood too much. Anyway, I like it, but do not think it is worth the price because it seems really flimsy to use as storage. It is better as maybe a staging piece. If I want to keep utilizing this for storage I'll eventually have to get a furniture artisan to reinforce it and make repairs to the splitting. ... show more
