You can shape this hat however you like. You can fold it to travel and reshape with ease. Color is great and fits well. The rim has a wire in it so you can shape it how you like. Finding a hat to fit my big ol' head can be a challenge. My head measures 23.5", which is supposed to be the upper range for the size Large. I was worried the fit would be tight, but it isn't at all. I needed something for an upcoming hiking vacation, but didn't want a hat that made me look like an old lady (even if I am). This hat has some "attitude", unlike most of the boring offerings on Amazon. The quality is great, and the hat looks more expensive than it is. The brim is nice and wide, and the thick wire around the rim lets you style it any way you want. It’s nice and light and seems like it will pack well if the brim is rolled up (it was shipped that way), but it probably wouldn't be wise to completely crush it in a suitcase. Love this hat! I particularly like that there is wire around the entire brim so that you can shape it any way you want. Hope it goes up after being flattened and reshaped for travel Update. Just got back from a weeklong trip to the Florida Keys; I bought the hat for this trip specifically. My Sunday hat was great!!
