Good product! I couldn't find anything close off the shelf. It snugs well on every contact. I could not get the shunts on, but I got it tight enough anyway. You have to remove the cap from the tunnel and then slip the inner cap onto the wire first and then put the cap & connected wire back into the housing. My positive wires a very large and it was tougher to slip on. It was a night & day difference from the old way to this way. So, I'm already purchasing more. ... show more

Not a whole lot to say here. They're good terminal connectors, with easy to use hardware and robust construction. Even have little plastic caps to isolate the connectors. Not bad overall for 12ish bucks!

So I just received it today, 2 came in the box. People say that it's not US Spec for the terminals, however, I drive a 2005 Acura TSX with a Red Top Optima Battery installed. When I received the package, I immediately tried putting the terminals on. Here's where I think people are getting messed up behind these things. 1 is marked + (positive) and 1 is marked - (negative) the negative connector is smaller in diameter, and if you pry it open, yes it might Crack, mibe didn't though. After attempting to put the opposite terminal on, I noticed the positive side was slightly more open and had to much space on the terminal itself. Something told me to look at the actual connectors that came, and once I noticed the lables - / + I quickly swapped them and damn, both sides fit without me having to hammer down on it. P.S I skipped the step where I hammered down on the - connector that I was trying to put on the positive terminal, and 😬 oops, made the positive terminal a little thinner than what it's supposed to be lol. Anyway, like I said though, after realizing my mistake, everything fits and mates up. Shims that came with the kit were not necessary. However, that's just for my application, may not be the same for yours. Just note that if your battery terminals are bigger than the circumference of a nickel, you might want to try a different set of terminal connectors hope this helps, OR USE A LOT OF HEAT FROM A HEAT GUN, TO PRY IT OPEN. Don't do it while it's cold, it'll definitely break. I'll see if I can upload pics before I leave for work. Or just delete and re do this review. ... show more

    • Easy hook up a bunch of wires

The car gave up on me for work. I chased it down to the previous owner clamping a couple of wires together on the battery terminal. With this item I was able to give each wire its own clamp and hole depending on wire size. Seems well made and fixed my issue.

The quality in person is just as good as the photos. Also a bonus for this style of battery terminals is you do not need a battery lug crimping tool. You can insert the bare wire end directly into the battery terminal with no crimping required. Pro tip is to add some solder the end of the wire prior to insertion into the terminal for an additional security measurement ensuring your cables won't back out. Give the securing hardware something to really bite into besides the bare wire. I got the 2 pack for my diesel truck and it was completely worth it. Depending on how many battery cables you have at each terminal there are enough mounting holes for the wiring to make your setup work and have room to add accessories. They are large so make sure you have accessible battery terminals in your vehicle without much surrounding them or these likely will not fit. ... show more
