I LOVE this hat. I didn't think I'd ever have such strong feelings about a hat, but there it is. This is now one of my favorite things. I need to be well-protected from the sun, and so a wide-brim was a necessity, but when I was looking for a hat for a family trip to Disney, I couldn't figure out how to balance good coverage with a hat I could take on and off for rides, meals, etc. This has was super convenient to roll up and tuck in my backpack, pull out and pop back on, and feel confident I was well covered. Unfortunately I left the hat, I think, in a restroom on one of the last days. Cue super sad me. Fortunately, it is so inexpensive, it wasn't a problem at all to pick up a new one when I got home. I have focused recently, and probably way too late, on being more vigilant regarding how much sun I get on my face. Now I always wear a big hat when I work in the garden. A friend mentioned that you can get hats that roll up for travel and I was elated. I bought this one and I love it! It's nice and soft. The brim has a little more of a wave to it than I would like, but that's because of the rolling, of course, and I can totally live with it. My husband and I got away for the weekend right after I bought it and it was so convenient to have a hat that I could pop on when needed, then easily stow in my bag when it wasn't needed. My girlfriend asked for a hat to use at the pool when we travel. This one is nice, the band on the brim actually snaps together when it is rolled so it is easy for travel. She does not like the crease down the middle of the hat that rolling it creates, but I don't mind it. It keeps her from burning. So she stays happy. ... show more

With age comes wisdom and age spots. To help with the latter, I was looking for a shade hat to keep in my car that I can grab if I need to for unexpected periods of time out in the sun (i.e. socially distanced lines while waiting outside). This is perfect. It does not take up a lot of space in my car when rolled up, and is much more attractive and provides better shade than a baseball cap. I've only had it for a few weeks, but feels flexible and durable and seems like it will hold up for quite a while. I love that I can roll it up and stick it in my purse once I'm inside. ... show more

The brim of the hat was larger than I thought but otherwise the hat was fine. Unfortunately I had to return it because it did not fit me properly. My issue was not with the hat but with the return and the seller. It was advertised as amazon prime, fulfilled by amazon and free returns. When I started the return process to my surprise It said the shipping charge would be deducted from my refund and later discovered there was a 20% restocking fee. I contacted Amazon who contacted the seller who did not address this issue but simply said I could return it. They did not offer to waive the fee or shipping charge but amazon gave me a credit to cover the return so thank you to amazon. If this was a mistake in the description I would have appreciated the seller to at least acknowledge that but instead they totally ignored that fact when contacted by me as well as Amazon. Lesson learned: beware of third party sellers ... show more

    • Great idea for summer hats!
These sun hats are absolutely wonderful! I have two of them. I first bought the neutral and then I bought the one that is coral. I love the way you can roll them up and put them in a small luggage item for travel. You could never take a sun hat that turns into something this big and comfy if it did not roll up and that is the beauty of it! I would highly recommend this product. I love the way it Shades my face. You have to put it on your head without ponytail bands, clips, etc. It will not sit on your head properly unless your hair is down imo. ... show more

Same as on the striped hat, they look great in the picture, I love the they are packable, the whole reason I ordered them, but they just don't have a good shape once released and I don't see how the crease across the hat will ever not be there when they spend most of their time rolled and secured, except when in use and now that I am stuck with them because I missed the "return window", I will either try them once or donate them to a local women's charity ... show more

Bought this for a trip to Mexico for a week, used it every day. It’s not just easy to pack in a suit case, it’s rolled-up design meant it was easy to tuck in my beach bag or my purse, and also easy deal with at a table or bar.
