Had these sunglasses for two and a half years. Only kept them in the protective fabric case for a a few months before it was easier to just keep them hanging in my car or in my closet. I've definitely dropped these a few times and sat on them (not all the way) more than I'd like to admit. I've also started cleaning them with my shirt for the last year. Only the tiniest meaningless scratches on the lenses probably from my shirt. Maybe a few chips and dents in the frame from dropping them on concrete. But you'd need a magnifying glass to even see them in the first place. The spring loaded hinges work like new still. The nose pads haven't worn at all. These things are tougher than any sunglasses I've seen and after fair abuse, they still look brand new unless you really get up close and inspect them. Definitely get a few from this brand and you'll have shades for years and years ... show more

I bough 4 total pairs of these. They arrive well packaged, with some basic accessories like a bag and cleaning cloth. The value really stood out to me. I hate spending money on sunglasses because I always lose/break/scratch them, so these are a perfect blend of price and style. Just got these today. They are solidly constructed and fit my face very well. The spring-loaded sides are just the right tension, strong enough to keep glasses from moving, even when looking down, yet still comfortable to wear. Came with a mini hex-like wrench that's a bit flimsy, and a microfiber bag. My first thought when I looked at these and tried them on, was what other colors can I buy. I'll likely purchase a brown pair or blue-mirrored as well. These are better than the $10-$15 crap in dollar stores. I would've paid $20. Neither the glasses themselves, nor the packaging, nor any stickers have the UV400 marking. It is only mentioned in the product description on Amazon. As far as I know, the CE marking does not indicate such protection. This leaves me wondering whether this protection is actually provided or not. UPDATE. My previous rating was 2 stars. But Sungait's customer service turned out to be so fantastic that they responded almost instantly, and their response fully satisfied me. In my opinion, the consumer still feels more at ease when they see the UV400 marker on the sunglasses themselves or on the packaging. The sunglasses are beautiful. ... show more

I purchased the 2 pack offering ~~ black with gray lenses and black with brown lenses. Extras include a repair screwdriver tool for your keychain, nylon pouch to switch out the sunglasses and a clearing cloth for the lenses. The frames appear sturdy, but time will tell.

Nothing outrageously special, but made well - comfortable, durable, great polarization, and good looking. I am an Oakley guy, but when those things break, OUCH on the wallet. So I’m taking my own break on them, and very much enjoying these. Will likely get another pair ;)

I've bought these sunglasses twice. I lost my first pair and liked them so much I wanted another. My second pair worked well as my daily sunglasses for 2+ years. They saw a lot of use. As I was putting them on, one of the arms fell off. I tried to put it back in, but it wouldn't hold. Either a screw was missing or something snapped. I was debating buying a new pair when I saw "lifetime guarantee". With most Amazon sellers/companies that's a sales tactic to trick you into buying. Not with sungait. They had record of my purchase and sent out a new pair of glasses. I couldn't be happier and will gladly deal with them again whenever I need sunglasses next.
