In our church library, we have several sets of smaller, yet related, books. A set of small, children's books is a good example: each is about a single Bible story or single character, yet the books fall into related groupings. I had to find a way to sort them into those groups, and then to find a means of neatly displaying them- sorted- on our shelves for circulation. The storage had to be at least semi-see-through, reasonably strong, yet still reasonably attractive. I was also looking for an easy means of storing and identifying the sorted groups. These are mesh-reinforced PVC bags, with colored, stitched-on zippers, and a color-matched hanging loop. The LARGE TITLES of our books ARE discernible through the bag. The color-matched zippers and hanging loops are attractive, functional, and add a bit of bright color. The zippers are DOUBLE-stitched onto the bag top, and the PVC is sturdy and waterproof: no problems there. My one concern is about the long-term durability of the bags, since the side seams are SINGLE-stitched onto a very SMALL seam allowance. (Why not double-stitch as with the zipper?) Time will tell. For the time being, though, we now have a neatly co-ordinated, reasonably strong pouch system for organizing and displaying- flat, on their edge, or hanging- our small book sets for our church library. NOTE: Seemingly identical or nearly identical pouches are available under dozens of names from dozens of vendors/distributors. My decision for this brand was based on the total number of pouches (18) , the 3 x 6 color breakdown of the sets for better organization, and the high rank of the merchant. ... show more

I used these bags to organize my hospital bag for delivery. And it worked great! The zippers are not very strong...I assume they will break in time. Great for what I needed. I also used them to organize my daughters diaper bag. I will use them for traveling, like packing cubes.

These are quite sturdy. They are used to pack cords for tech, socks and undies for suitcases, and a whole lot of other things. I also use a couple to hold sewing accessories. If you scrapbook or use HTV, they are great for holding scraps. Overall, many uses. Highly recommend . . .

I love these pouches and have re-ordered several times. These hold up very well and have good quality zippers. They are somewhat flexible, but not hard & stiff, and so cannot freely stand on edge.
