By this amp being full range it’s best to only use on mid bass. I had two amps in which the clip light came on and never went off. I always ran clean 0 gauge and had my subs wired to two ohms and still was faced with the same problem.

This amp is truly remarkable. It has a ton of overhead. As an "old skool" car audio enthusiast from the days when amps cost $1 per RMS Watt, this little Powerhouse is a steal. I'm running it at 2 ohms with pair a custom 18"s and after 30 minutes of abuse, it's not even warm to the touch. Super efficient. That also means you don't have to have a bank of batteries and a huge alternator. My stock F-150 battery and alternator (220 amp) are doing just fine although I am planning to upgrade those next. I'm confident its still putting out around 3k at 2 ohms and I have room to grow. I just recommend being careful when hooking it up and making sure you got your fuses proper as there is none on the amp. It's so small there was no room for them. This fit behind my rear fold-down seat in my four door F-150 with a custom bracket no problem. ... show more

You definitely have to upgrade your power system as with any high power amp. It Max’s my Orion hcca 12.2to the max. I’m running at like 13.5 volts off a stock alternator with upgraded 1/0 gauge. It stays pretty steady until I crank it for a long time with straight lows. My next upgrade will be the alternator. All in all this amp is a beast. ... show more

    • Crap it’s a expensive paper weight
First when I got smoked and didn’t work straight out of the box. The second one lasted about a year and then did the same thing when it wasn’t even turned on

The return policy is trash and would not recommend dealing with them. If you’re not happy with a product you’re as good as screwed.

Terrible experience, first time I ever connected it won’t turn on, plugged in a buddies amp to make sure it wasn’t my wires but his worked, what a waste of money, do not buy
