To make good on my promise, I am updating this review based on the great customer service from Sunco. I contacted the manufacturer through their website and they asked for images of the back of the lights that apparently gave them manufacture batch dates so they could track any manufacturing issues. They have shipped replacements. I cannot ask for anything more.... I will leave the original review below for prospective buyer info. I bought 72 of these lights for a new construction project that finished about 4 months ago. Very easy to install, sleek looking, and has great color and brightness. However, in that short time, I've had to replace about 8 lights where the plastic tip that holds the springs on, breaks off. See pics. I suspect that the heat generated by the lights causes the plastic to become brittle and since the spring is constantly under pressure, they eventually shear off. I've also had 3 recently burn out and stop working. Not a huge deal as you expect to replace some lights now and then, but I have 15' - 20' ceilings, so it becomes very "inconvenient." The description claims a 7-year warranty. I will update this review if they make good on the warranty. ... show more

I intend to reach out to Sunco, because they DO have a decent warrantee. I'm writing this review because I'm a single mom who struggled to afford this project the first go round. Now I have two lights taped to my ceiling due to breaking clips and one light that just went dark today. Two lights were dead on arrival. Three are not functioning as intended for the reasons listed above. That's a 20.8% failure rate. I'm upset and disheartended. I will report back on my experience with support, but unless they are able to help with installation, I don't know when this project will be completed. ... show more
