DEAR AMAZON, I AM NOT GOING TO RETURN THIS BUT HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP IT AND YOU CAN KEEP THE REFUND. THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY TO CONTACT YOU ABOUT THIS, WHICH IS RATHER BAFFLING. This is the third shed that I have bought from this company. The first one was small, the second one was slightly larger, and this is the biggest one I have purchased to date. The assembly directions for the first two were very good while the directions to this particular one were horrible. It took two of us to figure out what the directions actually meant and then to hold the lid in place in order to mount the lid. The packages of screws are not labeled. Approach the assembly of the shed very carefully and test your assumptions as to how to assemble it every step of the way. It does take two people with a little bit of experience to be able to assemble it. The pictures have to be looked at very carefully in order to determine how something might fit or how it might be screwed in or where it needs to be screwed in. Once assembled it is very nice. The struts for the lid do an excellent job of holding the lid exactly where you choose to leave it. It appears to be weathertight just like my others that I bought years ago. When fully closed up I doubt that the smallest ant could get in. Even though the directions were absolutely horrid, the end result was very good. I wish the company would go back and look at some of the directions it used to provide years ago. The company has gotten lazy and must be trying to save on paper or something. I strongly advise that no one try to set this up alone. There was a half inch diameter puncture in the lid that did not go all the way through. This was an easy fix because I bought some waterproof putty and pushed it into the hole. The putty formed nicely into the puncture and is definitely stronger than the plastic of the lid. I am still giving it five stars because once assembled it is an excellent shed. ... show more

This shed was promptly delivered to my doorstep in a substantial, well-packaged box, indicating its sturdy construction. Unpacking revealed clearly labeled pieces, making it easy to transport them to the assembly site. While the instructions were straightforward, assembling the shed required some handiness, albeit manageable with basic tools like a screwdriver. The process, which took approximately 3 hours with occasional assistance, resulted in a sleek, level structure that comfortably accommodates two child-size mountain bikes (for ages 10 and 12), along with space for 2 skateboards and 2 scooters. Its waterproof design ensures protection from the elements, and the included latch allows for secure closure (lock not included).     • A rain proof shed for my bike storage
This shed fits perfectly in a confined space next to my garage and allows storage of my bicycle and some other small items that I wanted to get out of my garage. I thought that assembly of the shed was relatively straightforward with the instruction booklet supplied. All the parts were included. I did have a bit of trouble with some of the pictures being so small that it was difficult to determine the exact orientation of some of the metal support pieces. One drawback to screwing into relatively thin plastic is that you have one chance to get it right. I did loosen some screws to reposition one of the metal support pieces and when retightening the screws it was obvious that the plastic was "stripped" and not completely supporting the screw on the second tightening. I assembled the shed on a base of 12x12 paver stones (24 in all). The pavers were placed over a solid bed of paver base and paver sand that was leveled. I was not aware that the 12 inch listed for pavers was a nominal size and they are not 12 inches. The shed fit fine on the 24 pavers, but not much room to spare. I attached the shed to the pavers with 5/16" Tapcon screws and washers. The pavers drilled very easily with a masonry bit. So far the shed seems to keep everything dry through a number of rain days. One very nice feature is the pneumatic lift shed roof. It holds its position nicely while items are placed in or extracted from the shed. One final comment: delivery to a site of your choosing is essential because the box is huge and weighs 140 lbs. I would purchase this item again. ... show more
