I purchased this for my computer setup rather than buy a pair of powered ones. I used some 8 ohm stereo speakers and they sound pretty good ! Plenty of sound for this application. I love the ease of Bluetooth connectivity. Ultra simple. I would buy again.

It's a great little stereo system. I wish it didn't talk, but if you have poor eyesight It's a bonus. I would have liked more than one line input, but one gets me by. The radio get poor reception but does pickup some local stations. The absence of tone controls is offset by a number of preset EQ settings, still I'd prefer a bass an treble setting. Needs a mute button on the remote. I'm unable how to get it to learn station presets. If you turn it off, you have to enter the station frequency again. ... show more

I work in a truck shop and needed something with a small footprint that would set on my toolbox and be loud enough to be heard over all the noise. This meets all those criteria. Not sure where the volume complaints are coming from on here. At first, I had the same problem till I maxed out the volume with the remote and, my phone. Then voila this thing rocks and all volume is easily adjusted via the volume knob or remote. I personally don't use the remote due to the grubby hand's thing. I tested the remote and had no issues it's a little sluggish but functions all tasks. I have it connected to a set of old home bookshelf speakers and it rocks. My only complaint might be the tuning, as I have not been able to just hold the button down to advance up or down the dial rapidly it's kind of a tedious process to tune in but it has an awesome memory. It is not constantly powered on my box but when I return after the weekend it goes straight to the last channel. The reception for both Bluetooth and radio is very good. No annoying loud voice when connected either as I have seen mentioned on similar units. All in all, I would buy it again and recommend it. It also has a 12 power supply which I have not tried but may come in handy for the hobbyist out there I was considering connecting a 12v toolbox light to it. Connecting is straight forward and easy with my Android phone. And yes if you need the instructions good luck you'll need a magnifying glass or the Hubble telescope dang that's some tiny print. But they sent me an email link for a video which I did not need. I found the unit straight forward and easy to operate without instructions and I'm no spring chicken. I like the look and the size that's the main reason I chose this one over the others. Bluetooth works great, MP3 USB works great, FM signal pick up is good. The disappointment is the line input. It is very low and can only use 3.5 jack or RCA not both. I putting in my MP3 player on the line in and it's very low. You have to turn up the volume. Then if you change the mode to Bluetooth or FM the volume is very loud. Very annoying It's two different sound levels for the input and the FM and Bluetooth. The sound quality is good but the amplification is not there. I bought this cuz I wanted something small to put on my workbench to test audio equipment for reselling. If I would have bought this for personal use, I would be very disappointment with the input line. Update: stopped working so I opened up the case and found bad soldering joints on on/off/volume knob. Reworked the solder joint and it worked again. Bad quality control not sure, if the soldering was cold joints or something is heating up and making joints melt loose. I lowered my rating from 4 stars to three stars. Only because I know how to solder and I was able to fix it. Otherwise I would have given it one star. If anybody else has the same problem, just rework the solder joints under the volume knob ... show more

Update 200 watts - not possible Bluetooth - can't be found Manual - can't be read Sound - mediocre at best Quality - non existent On the plus side all it shipped with all the knobs and it has a shiny black color. I got this 'receiver/amp' last year and I must say that if you like plugging unplugging, selecting from lists and generally manipulating technology this is a fine product. However, if you just want to turn the product on and listen to music while you do something else, run from this product. Run fast and run far. I usually end up listening on the laptop speakers or monitor speakers because the BT won't connect from one session to the next so if you close the lid, you will have to reconnect the amp, or not reconnect the amp. Success will depend on something like the phase of the moon, political whims of Nigeria, the model of car that just drove past or something, I can't figure out what. Rather heavy but would not function for a sailboat anchor unless it is the Geico Geico's luxury yacht. ... show more

I needed to repurpose an old set of home theater speakers in my kitchen. This amplifier is perfect! It drives 3 speakers and a subwoofer great! The price was fantastic. The quality is awesome. Bluetooth connection was quick and easy. I am ecstatic about finding this product!
