As I’ve gotten wiser over time I’ve learned that sun protection is where it’s at! Originally I bought pull on upf sleeves to protect my arms. And don’t get me wrong, they work great. But I couldn’t wear them with certain clothes because there would be a gap between where the sleeves ended, and where the shirt began. Also, the compression the sleeves used to stay where you put them could cause irritation and chafing after a few hours, especially if you were sweating buckets. When I stumbled upon this bolero style protector it peaked my interest, and I had to give it a try. And I’m so glad that I did. It’s so, SO darn comfortable to wear. The fabric is synthetic, but it’s very chafe resistant. And it works great to protect from sun exposure. They are also quite cooling as well. As a bonus, it looks hecking cute with a number of outfits. And I’ve received many a compliment on it since its come in. I am pretty small, as in under 5 ft. So the sleeves were pretty long on me. But I just took my sewing scissors and gave myself some thumb holes, and voila! Cute bolero coverup with hand protection built in. And the price is very affordable. I just bought myself a second one. That way I can always have one available if the other gets dirty. My only wish is that it came with pre made thumb holes. I don’t have a serger, so my thumb holes remain raw edged. I ordered these for sun protection while playing tennis. They cover the shoulders and stay in place without restricting range of motion. It is much cooler to wear this with a tank top underneath, than wearing a full long sleeve shirt. As you perspire they do cool some. Material helped me stay mostly protected from sun exposure while doing yardwork. I had been mowing and weeding in a hoodie during high heat days, this made it so much more comfortable as I could wear it under a short sleeve shirt instead. Doesn't trap heat in and fits essentially as shown. I wish it could cover my hands (longer and with a thumb hole) so I would be more inclined to wear it hiking, but it's good for being out in the sun while wearing gloves ... show more

Used it for the first time to ward off a chill and loved the silky texture. I have just ordered another color and will always keep these on the ready. I tried individual pull-on sleeves and they were just too tight in the upper arm for golf.

I ordered white and received a crème/ivory color. It is not white. It is nice though, very convenient, sleek fit, nice shape. Definitely better than wearing a long sleeve t-shirt under. This item was purchased for modesty reasons. Seems true to size.

I originally purchased hairwilly's version of this & they were just a few inches short of my wrist. This version was perfect length & the price was about $7 less, I've already purchased more. If you're in between sizes go down they run big. Depending on brand I can go from an 8 to 10 to 12, so I bought both medium & large. The medium was perfect still with wiggle room. The large was definitely looser & started falling off my shoulders mid shift. Purchased more in medium. Worth the $10! ... show more
