I’ve owned these shoes for a little over a month now and I’ve worn them every day. I haven’t been doing heavy construction, but they’ve held up very well. I bought them because I have been remodeling a kitchen, and my partner and I decided that steel toes would be a good way to protect our feet from moshes and crowds at a rock festival we went to. They are incredibly comfortable to wear, and they have held up very well to the uses that I have put them through! They also breathe quite well so my feet were never too hot. If you wear orthotic inserts, they will probably fit too as I’ve worn orthotics for over 15 years and immediately put them in my shoes with no problems. I absolutely recommend these. The fit is pretty close to true, and they are most definitely comfortable enough to wear all day. I bought my son shoes for Christmas. It wasn’t a brand I knew, but I thought they looked nice. And they fit but very uncomfortable for an all day on your feet job. They were giving him blisters. So went back to the drawing ground to find something that might be better, and that’s what came up on these shoes it blew my mind. I didn’t know there was a shoe under Work sneaker He likes to steel toes because he works with us special needs children and his feet gets stepped on a lot so I was able to get these which had all of that plus made of Kevlar so I know they will last last He said they are so comfortable I highly recommend ... show more

    • The shoe installation process is lacking but..

First off the way this is made the laces don't do a thing. They are basically decoration. The shoe is a slip on and has a super small and flimsy opening. You must use the loop to get on foot. Once on they feel nice and my feet feel good in them. I ordered .5 size larger than I wear. Water proof, they feel heavy in the hand but somehow light on the foot. Been wearing them 3 weeks in an extremely rough car collision repair environment. So far I am impressed. They've been wet a few different times and kept me dry. They do get dusty if in dirty environment. The minor annoyance of the shoe installation process quickly goes away once your heel slides past the limp heel of the bootie. I work on the ramp and a large mainline airline in the US. These are surprisingly comfortable for standard steel toe shoes. They are true to size and fit very comfortably. I was looking for a more comfortable steel toe work boot/shoe then my current boots. I am on a job assignment that requires me to walk between 7-10 miles a day on concrete. After a few days your feet and legs get tired. Thought I would try these steel toe shoes. Here are my thoughts. A. They look pretty stylish for a steel toe shoe, so that is nice. B. They are really comfortable compared to by boat anchor steel toe boot. C. I will agree the heel support is a little flimsy so it makes it a little more challenging to get the shoe over your heel since it does have a hard lower heel, but that also makes it more comfortable to wear. D. I feel like I am "cheating" and not actually wearing a steel toe shoe. E. Price is great. F. Lots of colors to chose from. I would highly recommend you give them a try if your in the market for looking for a new safety shoe. ... show more

    • Small Steel Plate on Large Size Shoes.

Ordered size 14. The steel toe cover seems to be generically made for smaller size shoes. The opening to put your foot in is small and requires a lot of effort for an untide shoe. Unless put on super tight and perfect the steel toe part will rub the side of the big toe and cuase blisters. After just a few uses the rubber that holds the laces ripped from the pressure and now I can't wear them. This all happened in less then a month. Will try to return. ... show more

    • Very comfortable out of the bag/ box ; no real tongue
Only complaint is the same as others, no real tongue so just getting the shoe on is a bit of an issue. The “loop” in the back is not big enough for a grown person’s finger to pull it. Minor issue except, most like to be able to quickly switch to their work shoes. Our company just went from requiring boots to shoes (steel toe or composite). I ordered these and felt like I was “breaking the rules”. They are so comfortable right out of the bag; yes, arrived in a bag. I have sent the link to at least 20 of my co-workers. There are other composite toes of the same brand that I would /could have chosen however, these are extremely lightweight compared to any I have ever worn (25 + years).
