The pen was not working. I ordered it for my daughter who is at college. Her original pen was lost and this is a replacement which I bought after reading the good reviews. It is not pairing with her Surface Pro 7 laptop. Not sure what she is doing wrong or if the item is defective. Material is plastic and the pen is not magnetic. Works great with the surface thought. No issues with it yet. The tip is much more difficult to exchange. I bent one of them when I attempted to exchange them.

Using it with my Surface pro 7, and it's great when it works.. but now it only works like.. 80% of the time just a month in. Edit: now it only works about 40% of the time.
