This costs about 15 cents to make. It's very thin plastic which offers less protection than the 10 buck cheaper cascade. Shame on STX for selling something so small like this so overpriced. I don't mind spending a bit more on a stick but a thin sheet of clear plastic to protect your throat should be like 20-30 bucks at most. 50 is ridiculous considering this has about the same amount of plastic as a coke bottle for 2 bucks.     • Does the job. Used zip-ties for the side instead of the hardware
Fits my sons cascade brand helmet no problem. The hardware did too, but it threaded weird and it was only a few days before one of them fell off and was lost. Just used a zip-tie to secure that part of it and you can barely tell the difference.
