I’ve owned this watch for several months. I don’t wear it daily, but it keeps accurate time when in use. It IS mechanical, which can’t be worn leisurely as a quartz. If abused, bumped or dropped, components will fail or break in this type of watch. I own several Stuhrling timepieces, including this one and 3 different pocket watches. Headline says it all. Three feet to a laminate floor, picked it up to put it on and the second hand was floating around inside the case. Scared that it will get lodged in the works, so I can't wear it, VERY unfortunate. UPDATE: Please contact me about a warranty repair / replacement under your "Comprehensive" warranty. Review goes to one star until I hear from you. UPDATE: Stuhrling paid for shipping back to the, repaired the second hand and shipped it back. All no cost. This watch worked for about 3 months before several things stopped working, first thing that broke was I could no longer set the time, then the movement stopped working even when the watch was wound and I would have to shake it hard for it to start even when I'm constantly moving that hand all day, and finally to top it off it just stopped working at all. At the end point it wouldn't unwind and stayed wound up for like 2 weeks compared to the normal 3 days. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand. ... show more
