It is a beautiful color and is gorgeous watch to anyone who is not too discerning. A little heavy though. Keeps good time. I used it in >180 degF sauna to <30 degF cold room environments within a few minutes and in plunge pools and it has held up fine.

    • A solid built watch at a budget price point
i wasn’t too sure about this watch at first, but it has started to really grow on me over time. The band is comfortable and the watch itself is very good looking while having a hefty weight to it that makes it feel substantial. I’m not a big fan of the safety latch on the clasp. Mine didn’t really want to stay closed after about a month of use, but I just removed it and have zero problems since. I’ve been using the watch at work as a beater while working for a lawncare company. It’s been beaten and abused, but has taken it like a champ. It has so far been really hard to scratch and the band stays latched in place well. It keeps good time and is very well built for this price range. I highly recommend this watch if you need an affordable beater or everyday watch that you don’t have to worry too much about. ... show more

I'd like to give this watch 5 stars versus 4, but given that it's a replacement for a defective watch, I'll wait and see, maybe upgrade the rating. This watch was bought for regular wear, mostly indoors and not under harsh, abusive conditions, so durability is not that much of an issue. Also not using it as a true dive watch, because let's face it...at this price point, you're NOT getting a true dive watch, you're getting the aesthetic of a dive watch. Normal swimming or snorkeling are probably about as far as you can push the water resistance envelope; 100 meters seems dicey., but then most of us aren't hard-hat divers or Navy SEALS, so that doesn't matter. The watch is more or less an homage watch; it looks good and the bracelet band looks quite nice and fits well enough out of the box without adjustment (I don't have very big or very small wrists. for what that's worth). However, being a NATO strap fan, I swapped it out. So far it seems to be keeping good time, the lume is adequate though not outstanding, the date is easy to read at normal distances, the bezel is uni-directional, fits snugly and moves crisply. All in all it's a watch that will,, I think, give good service and at this very affordable price point (not to harp on it), it's hard to go wrong. Incidentally, this is my second Stuhrling watch, the other being a somewhat higher priced diver, and I would seriously consider adding others to my collection. Update: Little to add to previous comments. Still pleased overall. One thing I have found is that the bezel moves noticeably (and clicks audibly) if your press down on it; I don't know if that's happened with wearing it or if it was like that originally, but I don't remember it. Anyway, it's still tight and crisp in turning. Time-keeping is quite satisfactory, looks great and is a strap monster...enjoying this purchase thoroughly and would not hesitate to recommend it to someone seeking a sharp-looking dive-style watch at a great price! ... show more

    • Top Quality for Rock Bottom Price
I've had this watch roughly 2 and a half years, haven't needed to change the battery yet. This watch looks great, just like a high end diver watch, and yet it costs an extremely reasonable 50-100 dollars depending on the timing. The band has removable links so you can adjust down, i removed 1 and it was perfect. You can use a thumbtack and something heavy like a shoe or a phone with a case on it to tap out the pins, there are arrows on the band to let you know which way the pins go in and out. Finally, I'll say that this watch has held up very nicely, some minor wear around the crown underside and only 1 scratch on the date window. ... show more

    • Tried to buy this item twice, same result!!!!!

Love the look and feel of this watch. However, after two attempts buying the same model the exact same thing is wrong. The crown that you screw out to set time and date just completely comes out and is not seated correctly in the watch. It's a shame because this is a real nice looking watch that would appear to be somewhat quality for the price point. I will say however, that I did buy another from this company (A Quartz Cosmograph) with no issue. It work fine! On this particular watch, no dice!! Wish it would of worked out, but the lack of quality has soured me on this brand. Caveat Emptor! ... show more
