  • Great starter piano
Great starter piano for home. Lightweight. Plugs in for power. Headphone jack so you can practice without bothering others. Programs to help you learn. Sounds great, very realistic. 61 keys so it is the short version not the standard 88 key version. Does not come with a stand but has a sheet music holder. Great beginning piano. ... show more

  • Capable keyboard made for beginners
I was surprised at the overall quality and features of this Strich keyboard. The 61 full-size keys have the appropriate feel -- just the right "bounce" when touched. I didn't test each key with a tuner, but they do sound accurate and none seemed to be damaged or "off." The built-in speakers are fine, but you can add external ones for a better sound. Like many such keyboards, it comes crammed with effects: different voices, styles and rhythms. The basic user manual shows various chords and lists the voices, rhythms and demo sounds; it's a long list. I did not expect much from the keyboard at this price point, and several of the instrument voices don't sound realistic at all, especially the different guitars. But the actual keyboard instruments, such as the pianos and organs, sound good. The keyboard comes well-boxed and arrived with no damage or missing parts. Included is an AC plug-in charger, a small but adequate microphone, an attachable music stand, and a very basic Owner's Manual. There is no foot pedal and apparently no way to connect one to the keyboard. The manual includes several chord tables, but I was surprised that basic information -- like identifying the individual notes -- was missing. This is disappointing for an instrument aimed at beginners. There is also no songbook to show the melody and chords for simple, familiar songs. That is not a big problem, as many free or inexpensive books, websites, YouTube channels and phone apps are available to help a new learner start and progress. Despite the few shortcomings of this keyboard I recommend it for young children and even adults who have wanted to learn to play the piano. To get the most out of this instrument, I also recommend you find a good stand to place it on when playing and a padded case to store or carry it. These are also available on Amazon for a range of prices. Note: I am not sure if this same keyboard is still available on Amazon. When I search the site, I see a larger 88-key instrument. I got mine in early October 2023, with 61 keys. ... show more

  • Don’t forget to include both black and white keys….
I had a ‘goof’ moment and didn’t realize it until the new keyboard came and I open the box to reveal the size. I have my old apparently 61 keys keyboard but it’s missing the sheet music stand cuz it broke over the years. I seen this and was excited because it had (61) keys and mine had 36 white keys when I counted. I thought I was upgrading getting a longer keyboard! My brain, I didn’t included the black keys too in the count to see I was getting the same size! The new keyboard is not longer but still and upgrade. I now have a sheet stand, it comes with a power adapter and a microphone! It’s lightweight compared to my old one but sound is still the same and not compromised. This one was budget friendly and a great keyboard for beginners. It has preset songs and you can see the keyboard screen show you hand placement and you can ‘learn to play!’ I am extremely happy with the new one and it will come in use cuz my old one is over 30 years old and may not have much life left. ... show more

  • God for small fingers
Nice keyboard with some good effects and features. It is playable by adults, but smaller fingers would do well with this. You can definitely practice and learn with this one.

  • Perfect for kids and beginners
I'm very happy with this keyboard so far. The speakers can get nice and loud if you need it to be and it sounded fairly decent and not boxy like some other keyboards. The teach mode is pretty nice in piano lessons. I also notice that the keyboard is very light weight. This could be useful for storage and also for piano teachers who need to travel their own keyboard. The one thing that I'm not a big fan of is the feel of the keys. While these keys are not weighted, they just feel very bouncy and sometimes are a bit hard to play. Though I think this is something that I can get used to but for smaller fingers, the feel might make it just slightly hard to play. It's not a total dealbreaker since most folks tend to not care about the feel of the keys. I would still highly recommend this keyboard for anyone who's learning piano. ... show more

  • Awesome
Nice well made little beginner's keyboard. Keys feel nice when played, has a lot of options and even a tutorial mode that will teach you how to play piano! Would highly recommend for beginners and even more advanced players, this is fun to play around with! Would be cooler if it could be used as a USB/MIDI keyboard, but for just using around the house and learning, this is a great little device! Would recommend! ... show more

  • Electronic Keyboard
Have been wanting a nice electronic keyboard for awhile now and saw this one and got it to try out. It's an excellent one. Has more features than I thought it would have. Plays as expected and sounds great.

  • Very Nice!
I looked over two of these and this one is probably the "better" of the 2, mainly in the way the control panel is presented - this one is probably easier to use, the functions are more distinct than the other one. After that it is just a matter of it performing as advertised and expected - it does and does it well. Although it is labeled as a 'beginner' unit I can see it being played well beyond the learner phase. ... show more
