The TL-Racker is an all-in-one integrated shotgun forend light. It features a sleek design that eliminates the need for remote cords so it reduces snag hazards. Ideal for shotgun breaching, close quarter operations or elevating your home defense options. The lightweight, all-in-one TL-Racker shotgun forend tactical light features the latest in high power LED technology, providing 1,000 lumens and 1.5 hours of continuous runtime. The TLRacker® is designed to easily replace the original factory forend of a 12 gauge Remington 870 model. Unscrew the action slide nut to replace the forend. O-ring and gasket.

I'm really happy with this replacement forend for my two home defense Remington 870 Express Tactical shotguns (we have his and hers - how sweet). Installation is a snap, especially if you're familiar with breaking down your gun. Even if you've never removed your forearm before, it's not a difficult process and there are plenty of videos on Youtube. Note that you WILL need a specialty tool to remove the forend locking nut (I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VP9VHQH). The light is incredibly bright, and the long actuator pads on each side make turning the light on and off super intuitive. The design choice for a short press to turn the light on/off, and a long press to only turn on as long as you hold the button was smart and, again, intuitive. Turning this light on will illuminate and temporarily blind a nighttime intruder. It'll be the last thing they ever see. ... show more

Light switches on from natural grip, no extra movements needed and little chance of accidental activation. Bright, big beam. In darkness, it will certainly pause anyone in its path. The grip is very ergonomic, even better than the original. This is a worthy addition on a defensive shotgun, requires no additional movements or even thought to use under stress. ... show more

Fits the H&R Pardener pump and went on super easy and feels great…might have to play with it cuz it’s kinda a friction fit on the tube but in general very good and worth the money also mine came with stream light battery’s so there’s another $15 saved

Replaced an aftermarket forend that had replaced the stock forend of an 870 tactical. If you're reading reviews on this, you know how to install it. An issue I've encountered is the front sling mount im currently using obscures the light a little bit, but otherwise it works very well to about 50yds or so. It can get you enough light to get you a sight picture for the target. And this is purely from my LE use perspective. The grip only needs a finger to activate the light. I unscrew the battery nut for car carry just in case I hit a bump and something activates the light. Just a couple turns make that happen, but you can use a flathead to fully secure the batteries. If you have a mount in your squad car, that works. Otherwise if it's in a bag/case and bouncing around I'm the trunk- maybe unscrew it so the light works when you deploy the gun. ... show more

Great setup for your home defense banger. Great for room clearing. It was a small pain in the a** as far as installation but that was Remington's fault, not Streamlight's.

My expectations were fairly low for this item, but it far exceeded them. I used this to replace a light I had mounted to a Magpul forend, and the light on this one absolutely blew it away. The Streamlight provides a clear, ultrabright white light. I know there can be a lot of nit pickers in reviews, but I am not one of them. My ONE complaint is I don't care for the way the switch operates. If you hold down on the switch it stays on, but a quick press while make it a pressure switch. I just think in a high stress situation one could get flummoxed and leave that light on longer than expected or wanted. If I could change one thing, it would be for this to just operate as a pressure switch: you press it and it is on and release and it turns off. For the price you pay, if you are looking for a light for your Remington shotgun, you can't go wrong here. ... show more
