The media could not be loaded. My original review didn’t do this item justice as I was pressed for time This was exactly the mixer I needed. I want to state I’m not paid for my review in any way I just want you to be informed as I was lacking such information. To start I’ve been using mixers ever since I got my streaming rig and have been learning different types over the time period. I originally had one built for stage use scenarios. When I needed to replace it I wanted one that was geared more for streaming and content creation. I found this brand by accident that makes exactly that. This mixer hosts a Metal body with options for white or black and a mix of knobs and levers to simulate a professional mixer blend with a streaming/podcaster mixer. The sound quality I get from this can’t be understated. I’m really a stickler for the minute details and was really impressed how well the X7 mixer does for its price There’s too much it can do to really say it all here but I will say your imagination will take you further than the manual ever could. I have not only elevated my streaming and video creation experience but I have also elevated my general entertainment experience with just a little imagination and answers to what if connections based on my experiences with mixers and audio equipment in general. The RGB is in a perfect amount not being too flashy but enough to mesh with your other blindly lights on your rig setup, or you can turn them off is you so choose. While I do miss the RGB on the older models Knobs, this model seems to have nailed the “dial ratio” when adjusting the Knob position and given visual indicators to let you gauge where your levels are at so you can alway get to exactly where you’re supposed to be incase you have to do any adjustments and readjustments after. The sliders have replaced the older models mid high and low mic settings which actually give you more of a studio feel( and mind you I like knobs over sliders usually) which I think was a good design choice four this model. There is also a LCD display this time around alerting you to things like Bluetooth connection status, OTG connection status as well as visual EQ for audio coming out and noise reduction levels as well as voice changer options. Did I mention there’s voice changer options and a built in soundboard? Not only that but there’s 4 custom voice panel buttons you can record whatever audio is coming through the mixer? I’ve used this to record custom sound coming from my TV without even the use of the computer and can use it hem during my livestream or have them play out my speakers while watching TV or even to my in game chat. I personally needed something like this because I told you I’m a stickler about quality and only use XLR connections to give my audience the best experience. This mixer handles the audio over 48v phantom power identically to the one I used to use that was more for DJ or stage and party use. The trade off is ports you might not need as the mixers for party and DJ use tent to have more XLR ports for instruments or extra mics. While you get extra ports for mics and instruments theirs is only one XLR port. Assuming you’re needing this to stream or content create it’s a good trade off for all of the features you get instead of extra XLR ports. In fact this mixer even has 2 extra monitoring ports in the front which again leave the possibilities up to your imagination. My last thought I will leave you with are that I expected much of this mixer when I bought it but I can tell you without a doubt it exceeded my expectations and have brought a quality brand to my attention.
