  • Utterly confusing
Unit came in white, not black. Software has zero listed plugins despite advertising "one hundred plugins and counting". Unit also doesn't seem to send hotkeys to programs. Really just not operating as advertised.

  • A lot of features Helpful for streaming No Website only forums.
SO after using this for the past few weeks, I didn't realize how much I needed this, it does not have quite all the features that you would see in a popular stream deck, but it comes pretty close. A few Features I like about this deck is that Along with being able to switch scenes, I can also set it up for gaming, like HD2 game, I can set one of the keys to a stratagem instead of pressing all the arrow keys, I just press 1 key on the deck. I have the web pages that i would open up on stream with OBS set up on each, So when I need to go to any page that I do, I just push a button and its all set to go! I also like the mini screen on the edge that allows me to put my CPU usage, GPU Usage, and RAM usage, you can customize it to your liking. Okay the CONS: There is no website in English to utilize the addons and there is also no official website for the software, its a direct link within the manual. So when I go to look for addons for games or applications that will help utilize this more, its all in Chinese and its in a forum layout. So for the price I cant complain to much, its half the price of big name, and does at least 90 percent of what it can do. I also feel like this is a one and done deal, meaning that since there is no website or English site, that upgrading, and improving the software would be almost impossible. ... show more

  • Takes a little extra work to get going
I use these "stream controllers" for video games and macros, more than anything else. I already own a 32 key Stream Deck that I primarily use for my flight simulator. I got this TMICE Stream Controller to put my ATC commands on, so I could fit more of my primary instrument controls on the Stream Deck. For my purposes, the TMICE Stream Controller worked very well. In the TMICE app, the "store" of plugins is completely empty. There's nothing there. There are some icon packs to choose from in the store, but that's really it. However, I have discovered that you can use the some of the same plugins available on a Stream Deck on this - you just have to manually copy the plugin to the Plugins folder. The TMICE Controller has a total of 15 dynamic buttons, plus an additional "information display" on the right side. The information display on the side is great for things like CPU and Temperature monitoring, Weather, etc. The display on the side is not a touch screen or additional buttons - it is just a display. The TMICE does feel significantly lighter weight than an Elgato Stream Deck, so it will want to slide on your desk more when you use it. However, it seems they've tried to compensate for that by changing the angle that it sits. The buttons are pointed more upwards, toward the ceiling (kind of like a keyboard), where as the Elgato points more at the user, like a tablet propped up on a table. Overall, the TMICE Streaming Controller does what it's designed to do, but feels like it's not ready for release yet. The lack of options in the store is going to be a big downfall to the average user that wants something easy to set up with their favorite apps and go. Aside from this downfall, the unit itself works as expected and has been a nice addition to my setup. I'd currently give it 3 stars. If they can start adding some plugins (and hopefully good ones) to the store, I'd bump it up a star. ... show more

  • Works but compatibility is not all there.
To install the initial program to adjust the screen is a little weird. You have to download a zip straight from a url compared to going to a website. Once it’s downloaded my antivirus went crazy. I don’t believe this would do any harm although you have to give permission every single time you start your computer. I got this for video game macro buttons. When I tried using it, it registers out of the game as if I had click onto another screen so it doesn’t work for that. If you want an easy way to open YouTube or some other web page, unless you really know what you doing, that’s about all this is good for. ... show more

  • Nice deck
It is a cheap alternative to other "Stream Decks" which allows you to set up application or global hotkey shortcuts. There is also some OBS integration, but the integration is limited, and requires the websock api plugin. Overall it is not bad for the price, don't expect a premium experience, but it does its job well. ... show more
