Purchased for a trip where a waterproof dry bag was needed as well as a second backpack depending on the activity. Kept camera equipment in the bag when moving on Zodiacs (RIB boats) and everything stayed dry. Not the most comfortable to wear as there are far fewer adjustments than a typical backpack. If you're in the wilderness where weather is uncertain, or in a very rainy environment, this is the ticket. There are better dry bag packs available from Patagonia and others, but at 4-5 times the price of this one. I really really like this bag!. I scuba dive a lot and I'm a lifeguard so I'm always in or around water. This back protects without a doubt. Its really spacious and has a nice feel to it. The straps can use a little more comfort and maybe add an inner pocket or another side pocket so you don't always have to go into the bag for smaller things and this would be perfect. I was caught in the rain the other day and in the stormy weather the only thing that got with outside of the bag was me. I wish i could have fit in there too. ... show more
