  • No sorbitol as a sweetener!!! Love this one - better ingredients than many out there
Pattern Name: Gum
I had the worst issues with most types of nicotine gum and didn't know why, until someone mentioned it could be one of the sweeteners....I did some research & found out that sorbitol was notorious for causing cramping etc...That's exactly what would happen to me; I had a lot of abdominal distress. It wasn't even worth chewing. My stomach would cramp and I was miserable, so that certainly mitigated any effects of the nicotine. I tried this particular one, because after more research, this particular flavor was notated as not having sorbitol as an ingredient. It uses xylitol instead. I do know that some may have issues with xylitol (depends on the person, we are all unique), but this one is fine for me - no more stomach issues!!! Xylitol also has a low glycemic index meaning that it doesn't spike sugar levels as much as other sweeteners out there (if that's an issue for you) - I was really happy to learn that. it also helps to thwart the growth of tarter. Read up on it. I did a lot of research on various sweeteners. it's truly the better alternative for those w/out adverse reactions to Xylitol. I don't have diabetes and i'm not pre-diabetic, but i am sensitive to too much sugar, so i like to keep that on the low side (avoid sugar spikes, etc) - This particular formulation is definitely for me and does not cause ANY abdominal issues for me. FINALLY - I can't speak for everyone out there, but this one works best for me. i wish other brands had this formulation....it seemed hard to find one without sorbitol. (oddly) I was ready to move to the patch, until i was advised about particular sweeteners and how they can effect you. Maybe this info will help someone out there. ... show more

  • Why has the price increased so dramatically?
Pattern Name: Gum
The gum is good but the quality/quantity hasn't increased, so why has the price escalated? I may have to go back to cigarettes; they're cheaper now than the gum. But I'll check back to see your explanation concerning the price. Thank you.

  • Great gum, but the price not so much
Pattern Name: Gum
It feels like this gum has doubled over the last couple months. Walmart will do (2) 160 count packs for $115. So yea I'll be going there. Oh and I bet it's not the supplier who's bumping up price it's Amazon. When they know you like something, they will creep the price up on you. It's a game those lames play. Do better Amazon!!! ... show more

  • Works for a long flight
Pattern Name: Gum
Hi there. I’m in Tokyo right now enjoying fresh sushi. Wish you were all here with me. My flight was over 12 hours. The gum worked great. Didn’t even have the urge to smoke in the planes restroom. By the way, smoking in the plans potty room is a BIG NO NO. Enjoy nicorete gum. I’m off to eat fresh sushi now in downtown Tokyo. I may even have a piece of Nicorete gum after I eat the fresh sushi from the ocean off the Tokyo coast. You really have to visit Tokyo for the freshest sushi ever. Over and out ... show more

  • Helped me quit, that's worth 6 stars IMO
Pattern Name: Gum
I caught covid in January and already had plans to quit. I tried having a cigarette as I recovered and I nearly coughed my head off. I ordered this to help make my transition easier, I planned on needing a 2nd box. The truth is, a few pieces of this per day during my high-need times was all it took. I didn't use their "schedule" as I wasn't a super heavy smoker prior (I had cut back for months and prior to catching covid was having maybe 5 or 6 cigs a day). I was motivated to quit tho, I couldn't stand being a smoker, smelling like smoke, and wasting money on tobacco products. I was also vaping which is barely better than smoking. I needed to quit, and this was my solution. I think it works because it still occupies your mouth. You take a piece, give it a few chews and then tuck it in your gums. Let it sit for a few minutes, then chew it again and tuck it again. For me it gave enough nicotine to remove my urge to smoke. I would recommend giving it a try. It's been 7 Months since I had a smoke and I have no desire to light up again. ... show more

Found better pricing on larger quantity at Costco; this is a good starter kit - about 10 day supply!
