  • Takes Some Getting Used To
Size: 20 Count (Pack of 4)
The flavor starts out way too cloying, but once the mouth gets kind of numb, it's more tolerable. I learned the hard way, however, that the lozenges can damage gums. Do you want to quit smoking or do you want to keep your teeth?

  • These are not the same Nicorettes anymore!
Size: 144 Count (Pack of 1)
I gave this 3 stars because those are the reviews that discerning people read... These are NOT the Nicorettes you are looking for. Seriously. I buy actual "Nicorette" lozenges because I can't stand the generic ones. I'm willing to pay the difference. These Nicorettes are EXACTLY like the CVS brand--lousy taste, lousy texture, not potent. Chalky and soft. Bleh! Really sad, and I have a full month's supply! I was immediately suspicious when I saw the containers were screw-top. It should be some kind of fraud, although the packaging looks authentic. I expect that they are being sold by Nicorette, but they've shifted to some cheap generic company to produce them. I read somewhere that they were having problems at their factory, so maybe that explains it. But never rule out simple greed. Expiration date is 04/2024. I've been getting by with ordering off Ebay and other sites (expiration dates in 2023) and they've been fine. The last batch I bought from this provider were fine. I'm pretty bummed at this point and wondering if I can send them back--if there's even any point. Don't waste your money and don't let them get away with this cheap substitute. Is there no pride or honor anymore? ... show more

  • I'm not a smoker, Just use them under DR. Advice
Size: 81 Count (Pack of 1)
I never smoked a cigarette in my life. That said I deal with lots of stress. (Don't we all) well My psychiatrist.os #4 in the United States so I trust their advice. For my low mood and anxiety, It was recommended to try nicotine gum or losenges! Since as of 2022 studies that have been done Nicotine does nothing bad to you in fact It calms you when are stressed and in a Forbes article they Discuss how nicotine is showing promise in ameliorating a disorder like parkinson's disease in primates. Although there is no debate nicotinen is the addictive component in cigarettes it's not the dangerous part of smoking, it is the delivery system that will kill. I assume that is the point of smoking cigarettes is to get that slight buzz, relax, that chill out period. Nicotine in some studies has been said to be quite good for the brain as a nootropic. That said, Smoking cigarettes that contains the (addictive ingredient nicotine) is what is tobacco companies USE to get you hooked on the dangerous and unhealthy cigs. Nicotine doesn't cause cancer, that's a fact. Cigarettes smoke contains poisons to name a few , lead, ammonia, formaldehyde, cyanide, some Benzene. Anyway, I am still a non smoker 39 years and enjoying my nicorette.....considering trying out the patch. We will see. Hope I was able to educate a couple of you. The research is available if you look for it. Feel free to reach out. Thanks for your time God bless 🙏 ... show more

  • 4mg is STRONG
Size: 81 Count (Pack of 1)
I am a smoker; not intending to use these to quit, but for really long trips in planes and rental cars where smoking isn't an option. I had no idea what strength to order; tried researching and didn't really come up with any good info. So I started with 4mg but wow - I can't finish a single one; spit it out after about a minute. Plan to decrease to 2mg for next order. Convenient that the mints are in little travel sized packs with a "safety" mechanism on the lid to decrease the possibility a kiddo would find them, think they are candy and try to eat one. Half the time I have trouble with the mechanism to get them open, so I'm pretty confident with just leaving them in my purse (especially since I tell the grand kiddos to stay out of my purse and hang it where they can't reach it)...but, just in case, the safety latch is a nice addition. ... show more

  • *CAUTION* They work like magic but please *BEWARE*
Size: 81 Count (Pack of 1)
Okay. Follow me here. This stuff is no joke, ok? The moment you decide you want to use a smoking aid like Nicorette to help you quit smoking, you NEED TO HAVE AN EXIT PLAN. I can’t stress that enough. It is probably best that you follow the instructions on the box, when it comes the weaning yourself off of these things for good. They work like magic without a doubt, but They are highlyyyy addictive. I have been using them on and off for five years (more on than off) and I have honestly had enough. Here are my list of reasons why: 1. In the beginning they made me dizzy af and the smell took some time to get used to. 2. I’ve gotten nicotine poison several times. I fixed this by dividing the mini lozenges into three parts. Instead of letting one whole one, dissolve in my mouth at a time. I’ll suck on just 1/3 of one, at a time. And I suck for dear life! (Pause). I lock it between my tongue in the roof of my mouth, so that it doesn’t dissolve too quickly. It’s easier to get sick if you let it dissolve too fast. 3. I have also gotten heart palpitations on several occasions, if the lozenge was left in my mouth too long. Once the feeling reaches its peak, I take it out of my mouth.. Even if it’s just for 5,10, 15min. 4. I used them all day long, right up until I fell asleep. NEVER EVER FALL ASLEEP WITH THIS SHXT IN YOUR MOUTH. I beg you. It will fck your oral health up. 5. But even if I didn’t fall asleep with them in my mouth, and took it out right before falling asleep? I would have the worst of the worst nightmares. The type of dreams that you just couldn’t imagine. Beyond Vivid. This is one of my main reasons for letting them go for good. I honestly can’t take the nightmares anymore. I think it has to do with my heart rate not being calm enough right before I fall asleep. Idk. 6. Plaque builds up so much quicker on my teeth as a result of using these. I have to brush my teeth three times a day, 5min or more each just to keep it at bay. If I don’t brush three times a day, my teeth look horrible in my breath smells like death. Oh and gum receding will definitely become a thing over excessive use throughout the years. I’ve worked overtime to keep my teeth white and in check! 7. It’s a $20-$30 per week bill, coming in at a little over $80 per month. Sometimes $100. It’s to a point where I’m actually embarrassed when entering the drugstore. Because it’s been years. And I have yet to give them up. I’m sure they aren’t judging me nearly as hard as I’m judging myself. 8. I get body aches and pains in the weirdest, most oddest places, at the most random times. Whether it be my chest, my leg, my arm, my head, my foot. But during the few times that I did quit, the sharp pains subsided 9. Also I work out a ton, so if I ever got a minor injury from weightlifting, it takes forever to heal while being on the stuff. I had a minor knee injury, that just would not heal. However, one of the times that I quit the mini lozenges it healed rapidly! Crazy. 10. If you suffer with any acne of any sort, honey this will send your skin over the edge. From acne to dehydration you will age like a prune. DON’T DO IT, DON’T DO IT, DON’T DO IT. It honestly truly is not worth it, you are better off going cold turkey. It’s almost as bad is smoking. ALMOST. And “Almost,” is still too much. If you can help it, please try to go cold turkey. If you want the aid to help you quit, have a plan and stick to it. They are just as addicting if not more than actual cigarettes. Five years I’ve been stuck on the shxt. FIVE. I am now 30 years old. And enough is enough. I quit once before, right at the start of the pandemic due to a health scare. So I was kind of forced into it, and after 11 months of being clean from it. I relapsed. I almost made it to one year being free from this stuff. Today is my first day quitting again, and I’m so disgusted that I think it’ll be impossible for me to look back this time around. In fact I know it. Of course I’m having cravings and withdrawals, but I can’t don’t it anymore. I’m far too fed up. Especially, because it’s now interfering with my spiritual journey. It’s up for these little shxts. Best of luck to you ... show more
