We bought a brand-new LG washing machine, then a used pedestal to avoid paying the ridiculous price for a new one. The machine would walk all the way across the laundry room every spin cycle. It even unplugged itself a couple of times. We had service guy come out under warranty to look at it. He checked the balance and theorized that the pedestal we'd bought on the cheap was the culprit: it was just too bouncy. We dealt with the annoyance by wedging the laundry basket in front of the machine to limit its travel. We still had to shove it back into place after every cycle. I had almost resigned myself to paying $400 for a new pedestal, but bought these pads as a last-gasp attempt. My helpful son-in-law and I put the pads under the four feet of the pedestal in about three minutes. I put in a load, waiting anxiously for the spin cycle. I had intentionally put in a heavy load with some towels. The machine started its spin cycle, tentatively at first, then faster. The machine shimmied a bit until it balanced the load. Then it ran up to full speed. It didn't move an inch. Not a millimeter. Not so much as an ångström unit, I'd venture to say. I'll admit I'm easily pleased with little things like this, but these pads were a perfect solution for an annoying problem. I was almost tempted to send a tip to the company.     • They work pretty well!
Just replaced a 12+ yr old Samsung Front Load Washer/Dryer set with the new version of the same machines. The new version are not made nearly as well as the older set from 2007/2008. They are in the exact same spot, on the same concrete basement floor, on brand new Samsung pedestals (just like the old set was). And yes, they were already level, yet the washer still looked like was going to take off into orbit when the spin cycle started. Worse still, the new machine had already moved itself 3-4 inches, when the old one with no special feet or padding, hadn't so much as moved a millimeter in 12+ yrs. Got these based on the other reviews and hoped for the best. They were easy to install under the pedestals with two people, carefully tilting the machine. We did need to re-level the machine afterwards, and we even lowered it substantially and was able to re-level in a better position than before. Honestly, I was afraid to turn on the machine, it was so bad that we had stopped using it entirely until Amazon delivered these, so I was afraid if these didn't work, we'd be picking the machine up off it's side because going into spin the machine rocked so bad it looked like it was going to tip over. Well... these really do work! The machine is much more stable than before and so far it has not moved at all since we installed these. The rocking back and forth has also substantially improved, though not completely gone. Noise really wasn't a factor before as these are in a basement, so I cannot say if that was improved. The only thing to note is that you will absolutely not be able to move the machine once these are installed, they do not slide on the floor, so be sure your machine is in place before you put these under it. We did not move the machine back the 4 inches it had moved itself, and not it cannot be moved without taking these out from under it, so it's staying where it is. Also, ordered these late on a Saturday night and it said they would not arrive until Wednesday, but Amazon delivered them on Monday! ... show more

We had a washing machine that kept getting out of balance because it was on a bit of a concrete slope. After spending years constantly re-balancing the machine we decided to get these. Haven't had to re-balance the washer since they were installed!

I hated spending the extra money for these. We had just bought a new LG washer & Dryer and I ended up REALLY needing these. The particular washer we got made a horrible scraping sound, several reviews on the washer recommended elevating the feet. This completely solved the problem. No more grinding sound and we got them for the dryer too. Now neither appliance moves. So while I do think these are overpriced (it’s just rubber) they do make a positive difference in reducing noise from both machines. Bonus: a dry swifter fits underneath my appliances now for cleaning. I first ordered a different product (pictured for comparison, light grey) and my 2” diameter LG feet wouldn’t fit. This product was an upgrade and easily accommodated the LG feet on both appliances. ... show more

These are a life saver. Had a washing machine that literally like to "dance" across the tile floor in the spin cycle. Each puck is made somewhat larger than your average vibration puck with a lip that helps to secure the feet of the washing machine and keeps the feet from falling off the puck. Solid rubber. Very well made, installing rear pads is not easy when machine is in an enclosed space, have to use felt pads on rear to slide back and use rubber pads on front once in place, will NOT slide on rubber pads

    • What I was looking for
Product fit my side loading Samsung washer and dryer. Doesn’t reduce ALL shaking, but I feel that does the best possible job a product like this could do. I hear the washer in another room when it first starts the spin phase, but otherwise it is relatively quiet.
