I love this Stone + Lane Celina dinnerware! I'm extremely picky about everything, and this set exceeded my expectations. Each piece is the perfect size, style, and color. The plates are modern and flat, but have a small lip on the bottom that makes them easy to stack. The cereal bowls are nice and deep. Each piece is sturdy, but not overly heavy. I've used them at least twice a day for the past 2-weeks, and so far, no scratches. With the soft white color, I'm expecting scratches eventually from flatware, but so far, this dinnerware is much better then the CB2 set I've had for over 10-years. They arrived in super protective packaging, so not one piece was chipped or broken. If you love the look, but are afraid of the quality at this price, don't worry at all. They're just as nice as any stoneware you'll find at Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn. I'm very impressed! ... show more

These plates are amazing and beautiful. Unfortunately 6 of the 8 large plates were delivered damaged or completely broken. Talking to their customer service they quickly agreed to replace to damaged plates free of charge without hassle. The reviews almost prevented me from buying this set in black but I am happy I gave it a chance! I am in loveeeee with this set. The black is matte and bold and beautiful. I love the size of the plates and the bowls. The mugs are a good size as well the handles are just a little small so don’t expect to fit more than 2 fingers through to hold the handle. They are modern and stylish and whenever I use them for company I’m always asked where they’re from and if they were expensive because they look and feel great quality Dishwasher safe. We recently moved to a new place and wanted to start all over with our color scheme. I found this set and bought it immediately. Just from the pictures I fell in love with the plates and bowls. They arrived on time with no damage from shipping at all. They were a little dusty but that was expected. Once washed they are the absolute perfect black. In a warmer color light they look slightly brown. Some of the plates arrived with blemishes (shown in pictures) but nothing that is too serious. The wash easily and are super sturdy. We did a knife test on them to make sure they wouldn’t scratch with steak knives and it held up perfectly. The bowls in my opinion are the perfect size. Not too small and not overly big either. The coffee cups are a bit small for my liking but that’s just means more trips to the coffee pot! My only complaint is that the plates don’t stack up correctly no matter how hard you try. They seem to be uneven or of just a little but other than that they are fabulous dishes. ... show more

When I ordered the Black Matte 16 pc set, I figured they’d be a lightweight ceramic at the price point listed. Which would have been fine with me. But! Let me tell you, firstly the packaging of the dishes was great. They were snuggly wrapped with no room to shift and break while in transit. The matte black is absolutely beautiful. There is a small lip around the dish so you will not have food or liquids running off, and above all, they’re heavy ceramic. I couldn’t be happier with the set. Love these dishes. They are a perfect size and the lip is nice on the plates. I have ordered the pasta bowls and awaiting their arrival. I wish they were open stock because I would like to order more dessert and dinner plates but they are not available individually. I don’t need more mugs or bowls. I bought these for my mom for a present and regret not getting them for myself as well.She uses them daily and they are still in amazing condition. Entire package was intact at time of delivery and no plates were cracked which is amazing because they are stone. Washes really easy, any grease falls off with a bit of soap unlike some other dishes where you have to scrub. Look beautiful even when stacked in the closet. Definitely is the finishing touch for any dish you make. Looks ten times prettier on modern dishes as such. I would just say that it does heat up pretty easily due to it being stone so proceed with a bit of caution if something is really hot (not much, but you definitely feel some heat) otherwise its great product and i look forward to buying another set. ... show more
