My 9 year old son has a blast with these. We bought a total of three sets so kids can compete for distance or just to shoot straight up at the same time. The rockets (the plastic find) will eventually fall apart but after quite a bit of use. We bought some refill packs. The base on one unit also developed a hole at one point and was tossed. But again, this is after jumping on it and stomping countless times in the yard and street over several months. It's rubbery plastic. Somebody I know got this for their kid for Christmas but it only went up 16 feet. I found these on Amazon and they are a blast. Great for adults and kids. So much fun no batteries no explosions just jumping on top of the air bladder highly recommend.

I purchased this product on Amazon prime day for a great price to gift to my nephew for his birthday. I was extremely embarrassed to actually wrap this product in the condition that I recieved it. (Look at what they delivered) It doesn't come in an Amazon box, just the stomp rocket box so beware if you are ordering it as a gift. I didn't have time to exchange it (also a damaged outter package is not an option to exchange only damaged product inside) but luckily the product inside was not damaged and he loved it. It comes with 6 "Rockets" and two of the rocket skirts tore off within an hour with normal use. We will try to super glue it back on, but it still shot the rockets up in the air without them. He is only 7 so he was still happy. I'm a little flustered with the shipping and durability but overall it can make a good gift. ... show more

I bought this toy for my grandson and great nephew. One has mild cognitive challenges and one has an exceptionally high IQ, but is on the autism spectrum. This toy is equally fun for both of them. When I play with my grandson, we name planets we want to visit before we stomp the rocket. Sometimes, we decide to fly to different states and say what we want to see in that state. We got this for my 7 year old boy's birthday. It's a pretty basic setup, and the rockets are essentially darts (plastic tubes with thin plastic fins and a rubber topper. They do launch hard, depending on the stomping force you can muster. We went out on a cool day with no wind. We (adults and kids) all stomped as hard as we could, but none of us could get them to go near the 400 feet advertised. Maybe up to 200 feet-like the other stomp rockets sold. When you launch them, keep in mind, they come down fast. All rockets launched came almost straight back down no more than 20 feet from the launcher. They were moving fast and hard to catch though. The rockets showed no dams though, and were ready to go again. I guess our expectations were too high, and after just a few launches, everybody was done. The Nat Geo Power Rocket is much better. It's not as fast, but it goes about the same height as these did, but launches and flies on its own. it's just lots more fun, and drifts down like a helicopter. ... show more
