I had a 1500 Skar amp and on a U series Sundown 12. It didn’t really push it so I bought this Stinger based on using it on SD. Let me tell this badboy hits way harder then the skar. I literally only have it turned up a 1/4 of the way and holy crap it beats hard as hell. I would absolutely get this amp if you have similar power or need it. I was worried it wouldn’t be enough but I don’t even have it turned up and it’s beating hard. I’ve got a 2019 Ram 2500 with a box and it doesn’t have a ton of room but this thing is beating harder then my 2-12 alpine type Rs. Def definitely worth the money. So far it’s not even getting hot after about 5-6 hour drive of continuous beating. ... show more

These amps are amazing. TOTALLY Underrated. They flat out perform. Very responsive to all of the controls. Pass all of the load test with flying colors and headroom. I bout the 1000w and the 1500w. Cannot believe the price point. Get yours before the word gets out and the price skyrockets. Update: I have been running the 1k for a week now and MAN O MAN!! This thing puts out so much power, it bottomed out a new set of Fosgates at 2ohms. Barely had the gain set to 1/4. A little under TBH. And the bass boost to a little less than 1/4 and Hz set to about 45. SLAMMED so hard I bought an additional 1k watt amp just to put on reserve. Insane Value. PLEASE gets your ASAP. ... show more

Glad I gave this amp a chance. It replaced a Skar RP-1500D and so far it's better in every way. It's way smaller and can fit into tighter spaces. My EVL 12" sub responds way better to the Stinger amp. It's also way more efficient. With the Skar RP installed, my voltage would drop from 14.0 to the mid 12's in about 2 minutes of full tilt. Constantly clipping and sounding like trash. After I installed the Stinger amp I can go full tilt for as long as I want and the lowest voltage I've noticed is 13.7. No distorting and way more output. If you are between this and the Skar, the Stinger wins all day long. Very impressed. ... show more

So whoever left a bad review, y’all are just plain picky and just wanna say some stupid stuff, SMH. This amp is amazing, especially for its size! I have 2 Probox 10s in a ported Probox and man let me tell you, I can feel the bass in my chest! My voice coils weren’t happy at first but got it tuned just right and got the gain knob just right and it sounds perfect! BUY THIS AMP!!!!!! ... show more

This new line of Stinger Class D amplifiers are astonishing! As someone who worked in the high end Audio business for 11 years and competed in SPL competitions all around New England "My shop installed the first system in Art Shakers white world record SPL chevy blazer at that time" and i personality no him "just giving you some back story to my history in car audio, not trying to brag at all as im sure most have never heard of him". Back in the late 90's and 2000's I was running 4 Rockford Fosgate 18" subs with a bd1000 and a Rockford 600.4 for my interior speakers in a Honda CRX. That system absolutely cranked back then and was hitting consistently in the 155-158db back then. It was also very expensive for all the equipment! This Stinger 1500.1d and 2 Skar Audio 12" subs in a Q-bomb ported box in my Suv destroys that old system by far and for pennies on the dollar! You will not be disappointed although the bass knob it comes with is extremely basic but I don't care about that. I would highly suggest you run atleast 2awg power and ground with a 150-200amp inline circuit breaker under the hood for your power cable. Also be sure to have a high end Capacitor "I have the Stinger SPC505 Pro 5 Farad hybrid cap" as even tho these amps are efficient they definitely still draw some decent power. You will blow any fuse under 150amp fairly quickly. This Stinger SPC505 is great for not only getting even more from your amp but also helping to save your alternator and overall electric system while also preventing headlight dimming on every Bass hit. You can't beat these amps for the price per watt, they sound amazing and have way more power then your expecting. Just buy the Stinger amp that fits your Subwoofers but make sure you have the power system in place to handle the amp draw. Update after using this amp for a few months, I would not recommend this amp or the Stinger amp lineup. This amp does produce lots of power,make sure to have 1/0 Guage power and ground and a 250amp circuit breaker under the hood with upgraded electrical "all of which i have". This amp is constantly goes into protect after not long of playing any song with strong bass. It heats up very very fast which puts it into protect. Cools down and then turns back on and this is with the gain at half adjustment and the bass knob at 1/4 turn. I can't turn anything up more or it instantly goes into protect. Made in China, unfortunately you get what you pay for, and as someone in the high end Audio business I've enjoyed using Stinger products for decades. ... show more
