It’s disappointing the lack of pictures in swatches for tan skin. I find myself always purchasing, as even googling doesn’t do the trick. I purchased 3 colors white, alloy, and intense labradorite. I additionally included a swatch comparison for NYX black liquid eyeliner to intense labradorite. I am not the best at makeup eyeliners but found the tip (pointed sponge texture) easy to work with. I’ve owned the white liner for about 2 weeks and find that it lasts throughout the day well, even through workouts. I did find that alloy is WAY darker than the pictures provided in their “swatches”. This is seriously the best waterproof eyeliner I've ever used. The receptionist at my chiropractor told me I should put wait until after I get adjusted to do my eyes because they will smudge. I have lined my eyes with black liner since I was a teen (I am 47 currentlly). Sadly, I had "Racoon Eyes" for many years. I never could find a technique or product that would not run down my face shortly after application. I coupled this with Elizabeth Mott's You'll Thank Me Later Eye Primer and headed to a punk rock show. Despite being smooshed between sweating drunk people for hours, my makeup was still in place when I was getting ready for bed. That was 4 years ago. Great long-lasting smudgeproof eyeliner. Usually my eyeliner ends up smudging on my eyelids after a few hours. This lasted ALL day. I did cut a little off the tip because it was a very fine tip. I like a thicker line.

I've been using this for months, I love the application, it looks wonderful on, but it is not waterproof nor smudge proof.... any day that I have worn it. I had MAC waterproof eyeliner and that stuff would stay for DAYS if you let it. Swam in the lake and it was still there, and the day after when I fell asleep with it. Cried and it was still there. It was a best friend, it was always there. This Stila is not the same. I cried last night, lmao, and I woke up to it completely gone. Not even a trace of eyeliner. Nothing. Other nights when I fell asleep with it on (no crying 😅), it would be like 1/4 there. If I put it on in the morning, it's half there at the end of the day. I carefully tap any itch I get on my face or eyes, while looking in the mirror to make sure I don't ruin it. So it's not from rubbing/touching. It's good for a day out but don't expect it to stay for a night out. Not for criers, not for overnights, or a full day. Really don't understand why it's marketed as waterproof. ... show more

Of course it's not perfect but I was using this and liked it a lot but found cheaper that was pretty comparable. However, I'd get one every now and again that would just run out of the applicator, make a mess or get all over my eye. It also would smudge a bit more. I got sick of it and came back to this.
