  • Great way to upgrade a kitchen on a budget!
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Light Grey With White Grout
I HIGHLY recommend this product for a relatively easy and very cost effective room improvement. I purchased this product after a good deal of research in to self adhesive backsplash. There are lots of options and pros/cons to them all I am sure. For our purposes we wanted an easy DIY option that would beautify and protect our kitchen without breaking the bank. Here are my take-aways: 1) These are very easy to install, the pieces fit together just like jigsaw pieces so alignment is quite easy. It is important to ensure your "caulk" lines run the same way (either all along the top or all on the bottom) to get that fit. 2) I tried an exacto knife style blade but found that very sharp scissors worked far better and the resulting cut lines were much cleaner. 3) These ARE NOT re-arrangeable so make sure you are sure before you stick it down. The glue is quite good and the one I did have to pull up took a lot of paint with it.Hopefully that bodes well for it's adhesion longevity. 4) These are easy to install but it does require some attention to detail and patience. The above area took one perfectionisty person a day and a half, inclusive of caulking and some painting. A haphazard job will lead to a less that awesome result (as noted by some reviewers photos). 5) I highly recommend finishing any corners and outer edges with a little caulk to give it a more tile-istic look but it is not required. 6) As for the "tacky feel' complaint in many reviews, a point that almost swayed me away from these, it goes away rather quickly AND it comes in handy for the install process keeping the tiles from being slippery. After having them up for a few hours and wiping them down post-install, most of that feel is gone. they are not sticky though and can be wiped off easily. 7) The hardest part for me was getting the cuts around the outlets right. I highly recommend making sure you get a few more than you expect to need just in case of mis-cuts. the 2nd pic is an example of how easy it is to make specific cuts with sharp scissors. Hope this review is helpful, good luck with your project. ... show more

  • Easy for a DIYer who knows nothing about DIYing Quit licking
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Light Grey With White Grout
I bought these because my bathroom wall just needed something more. They are not waterproof because nothing seals in between the individual tiles, but I didn’t buy them for that anyway .I bought them more for the look ,and because they are a 3-D tile they look pretty real .I’m actually very pleased with how they turned out and they’re very easy to cut and install. ... show more

  • Easy to use without power tools
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Warm White With Grey Grout
I purchased this tile to use as a kitchen backsplash until I get around to installing new countertops. I put them up in mid July 2022; photos attached are from January 2023, but nothing's changed. I did not have a backsplash previously, so these were placed directly on the drywall. They definitely don't feel real, but guests have thought I learned how to tile when seeing it up, not realizing it's a peel and stick vinyl. I like to bake a lot and use the range quite often. It's also often getting splashed with water from the sink. Over a year later, I have not had any issues with peeling or yellowing. Where there's been yellowing is from caulking when I last worked on the countertops. The tile itself still looks the same as when I installed. The paint originally was pretty flat, so the adhesive is pretty stuck on there. I expect due to this when I do finally remove them, I will damage the wall. I put some of the left over tiles on the wall inside a bathroom vanity, and since that is a semigloss, I had an easier time pulling the tile off to adjust than I did in the kitchen. These are very easy to cut; I mostly used scissors, but a utility knife works fine as well. I have a vinyl floor tile cutter, and decided to try that to get as perfect of a straight line possible, but this tile is not sturdy enough to be cut using it and tended to just bend. The blade would then rough up the front of the tile. Overall, it has been good. There is only one spot above the stove top that doesn't sit quite flush on the wall, but it has been that way since install as I didn't get the tiles lined up exactly right and is my fault. I had worried that area would be an issue later on, but it hasn't changed either. The tiles are also still bright white, and are easy to clean up if something splatters on it. ... show more

  • So Disappointing
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Cold White with White Grout
The media could not be loaded. I read all the reviews and saw that there was a mix of success and disappointment with the sticky backsplash. I got it for our RV, which we always keep plugged in with the AC running so I thought we could avoid any peeling. I am a crafty, hands on person and I also had sharp sheers, a level, and corner bead so I wasn’t worried about it being too difficult to install. Let me tell you… AVOID THIS PRODUCT LIKE THE PLAGUE! I put it up three weeks ago. Not only was it a miserable and messy experience, the RV has been at a constant 77 degrees and they are already curling up on the corners. But get this!!!! They aren’t curling up from the cabinet (which yes was properly prepared and cleaned with denatured alcohol and extra adhesive applied) but the 3D plastic tiles themselves are pealing up from their own backing. It’s a mess, looks disgusting, and now ruined my cabinet because the adhesive backside is still stuck to it. Such a waste of time and money and now I have to come up with a solution that most likely will cost more money and definitely more time than installing this product. FACE PALM NOW. Oh! Also. The “tiles” are very sticky. You can hear the squeak when I touch them in the video. Hard to keep clean. ... show more
