I watched several videos on YouTube and while these are quite sticky, I took the advice of a few contractors that suggested dabbing on a little 'Gorilla contractors adhesive' due to a few reviews stating that they fall off. They were really easy to put on and with the current $10 coupon right now they were so cheap! I used extra adhesive just in case since they’re going behind my stove, I figured they’d be exposed to a good amount of steam. I mean you can tell up close that they’re just vinyl stickies but they still look good. I’m not trying to fool anyone into thinking I have a gourmet kitchen! I am putting this in my kitchen and in my bar area. I have these deep dark gray counter tops, black appliances, and as you can see from the pic the backsplash is beige, so boring! Not anymore!! These tiles were very easy to work with. I used an exacto knife to cut the electrical sockets out and used sharp scissors to cut the edges of the tiles. They are thick and glossy. Look very close to real tile. Had my kitchen finished in an hour and it made a world of a difference. I was able to pull the tiles off if they were not lined up very well but once the tiles were firmly pressed down they held to the wall very well.
