  • Does exactly what it says
This is pretty standard steramine. I use it for both sanitizing my dive gear and my wife uses it for sanitizing her reusable drinking straws and water bottles. After clearing everything with soap, it’s nice to soak it for a bit to kill anything that lingers. It’s great stuff and safe to use on materials that you put in your mouth. Reasonable price for a 2 pack. ... show more

  • Great EPA Approved 3-minute Sterilizer for Human Coronavirus!
If you are looking for a great, affordable EPA Approved Sterilizer for Human Coronavirus--then, look no further! See the attached photos or Google it yourself, the EPA number is 10324-63. This is the real deal if you want to sterilize hard surfaces in your home for almost any bacteria or virus. I make this all the time instead of using Lysol. 1/3 a tablet in a spray bottle is all you need. Or, you can add 1 tablet in a gallon of water to use as a cleaning solution or dip for eating utensils or cutting boards. It makes a bright blue liquid that reminds you it's not water. It has not stained anything, including my white dishcloths or granite countertops. You have to let it sit on hard surfaces for three minutes for it to be effective, so please be mindful of using it correctly. The company claims it's safe for skin, but I would always wash my hands well after using the product--it's just common sense IMO. When family members get sick in our home I make a fresh spray to use in the bathroom and kitchen. I also fill my kitchen sink with this and 2 tablets to soak their dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I feel it helps to keep any illness from spreading. I have also used this to sterilize my kids' hard toys, especially when something got shared with a friend or left on the floor or in the bathtub. I have even sprayed my cell phone with it, just not around the ports. I also use it for disinfecting my Yeti cups, stainless steel coffee cups, and all the little parts of a sippy cup. I hope you found this review helpful. ... show more

  • Great unscented sanitizer
The sanitizer is slightly blue so you know it's there. It does not seem to stain anything. The tablets dissolve in cool water in about 15 minutes with occasional shaking. There may be a little sediment in hard water. Just make it up ahead of time and allow to settle. It is very benign and we use it for spraying gloves before removal, as hand sanitizer before removing our masks and to spray the masks after removal even before other cleaning or disposal. There are reports that it can also be used on vegetables and fruit with firm skins before being brought in the house - at standard concentrations. We spray the bags and boxes before bring them in the house if they can't be kept outside for a day. Great stuff. If you want to buy this note the following: This sanitizer includes an EPA registration number but I could not find it in the list of COV-SARS-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19 disease) approved sanitizers when I bought it. It could be there now. However, the sanitizer, Quaternary Ammonium, is listed multiple times for similar products and it the main ingredient in alcohol-free hand sanitizers and various brands of sanitary wipes. The manufacturer's web site includes an independent report that cites efficacy on SARS-COV-1 in 30 seconds at standard concentration (200ppm - 1 tablet per gallon) which is the qualifier the EPA uses for effectivity on SARS-COV-2. We make it up at double strength, as suggested on the label. Product was delivered ahead of the estimated time given by Amazon. A definite plus. ... show more

  • They are a very good value
At a time when finding disinfectant that has a documented history of working (EPA Registered) is difficult and due to price gouging ....expensive, it is good to know that this product is available. Do yourself a favor though and buy some refillable quart bottles in bulk (so you can mix up a batch to share with family and friends). You will need a measuring vessel to measure out 1 gallon of hot water and use 4 tablets (not the 1 to 2) shown on the label. Add the tablets to the hot water, mixing them in a clean 5 gallon container with a large wooden paint stick. Why 4 tablets and not one or two? Go to the EPA website as well as that of the company and look at the guidelines. For Covid -19 600ppm is recommended. Also remember to look up "dwell time" this is the time that the solution must remain on the surface for it to do its job. ... show more

  • Do-it-yourself, make-it-yourself sanitizer
Good value product to make your supply of sanitizing rinse or spray. Product description says its a food-service application as a final sanitizing rinse for utensils/bar ware/etc. May also be used as a sanitizing spray via a spray bottle. Appears similar to Barbicide with a similar sanitizing active ingredient. I use it at home to spray down and sanitize the kitchen sink, basins, and wipe down environmental surfaces. Will buy again when I use up the tablets. Recommended. ... show more

  • Great value and quantity
I found this right before the quarantine. I was able to have all the cleaner I needed when the shelves were empty. I was looking for a cleaner that was affordable. I was looking for something like when I worked in fast food, and I found this. I can use it anywhere because it is food safe. Do your own research. Look up what a good, safe cleaner needs. Look up what active ingredient is most effective. I found this. We have been great. There is always a bottle around when we need it. ... show more

  • Good sanitizer, no smell
Steramine is something we used to use when I worked as a bartender. It has a main ingredient that's a Quarternary Ammonium like Lysol, only it doesn't smell and you mix it up yourself. The main ingredient is shown on the EPA website to kill coronavirus and some other nasty things. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about is that the bottles aren't sealed. The bottles are, however, small, which makes them easy to put away till you want to use them. ... show more

  • Effective, allows home access to restaurant sanitizer
I really think the blue dye is unnecessary because it would be awesome to use as a laundry sanitizer for specific situations (stinky dish towels, etc). I really like using this on my reusable water flask bottles that aren't dishwasher safe periodically to prevent microbe buildup. I use it to sanitize my Vitamix blender container whenever I blend something with raw egg for example. It is nice having home level access to restaurant grade quat sanitizer without having to buy the industrial bags. ... show more
